I got engaged early last year, planned our wedding toward the end of the year. In between, I got a new job with salary more than twice of my previous job.
Now I am happily married, and after a raise my current salary is almost triple my previous job. I’m still trying to convince my former colleagues (just the cool ones) to also find new jobs.
It had more slow motion scenes than an Indian action movie. Shallow and cliché dialogue ripping off from the star wars universe. Snyder was plastered all over the credits. If this isn’t his cut then take the damn name off the credits. No matter how you cut it it’ll have the same actors, storyline, dialogue depth and in-your-face visuals. Snyder really is a subtle and sophisticated guy.
I wish there were smart phones with those little slide out keyboards like on some older phones, like a blackberry keyboard but slide out so it’s hidden unless you are actively wanting use it. And forward, back, play buttons for music and podcasts without having to eff around with the screen and unlocking and stuff.
I remember my first brother coming home after being born. My mom said I could go in the room and look in the crib but not to say anything, he was sleeping. I leaned down and said his name - I was one and a half years old. I know this is a real memory as nobody was there, nobody told me this happened.
Then nothing I remember until my 3rd birthday, I remember the depressing zoo birthday, and then remember learning to read (sort of- I was 3 and memorized a short book, claimed I could read, but after that just could read, pretty much anything - so I don’t remember the actual learning, however it happened, just that book, pretending to read it and that felt like it magically unlocked all books, it was remarkable and memorable).
That’s about all my memories until 5 years old, but after 5 it’s still just a few memories, even now I’d say just a few memories per year just a whole lot more years.
You can add emojis and special characters to your regular username, like the wolf icon in my displayed name. If that’s what you meant, then those don’t need to have a meaning.
If you still mean something else, a screenshot would be nice. You can blur the username of the screenshotted person if you’re feeling more comfortable that way. ;)
Thanks Wolf Link. The icon I was referring to is attached to my post (a red person with a red slash across it) and it is located between the user’s avatar and the user name. Your wolf is located to the right of your username, so the icon I’m referring to is on the left of the username.

You can add emojis anywhere, so it doesn’t really matter where exactly it is. Just to demonstrate it; I temporarily added a checkmark and an exclamation mark to my username ;)
The symbol you posted however… i’ve not seen that on the site so far. Does Jerboa have custom icons maybe?
There is a difference between the display name (Wolf Link) and the handle (@justlookingfordragon ) the display name is initially, by default, the first part of the handle, as it is with your account. But you can change it. If you are linking the user, you have to use the handle, which is unique.
Voyager seems to ignore the display name and just displays the first part of the handle on its own. Which is indeed kind of confusing.
If you are looking for something to set up at home then you can buy one of those hockey puck looking things. They connect to Wi-Fi and you can teach them a set of IR commands that they can repeat.
The Infrastructure Bill, the CHIPS Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act are huge examples from the Biden presidency.
From those we’re getting tons of bridges fixed, Internet upgrades, public transit improvements, research funded for climate change (including locally, Akron received finding for researching alternative polymers that don’t rely on oil), domestic security improvements from domestic chip manufacturing, port and airport upgrades, funding to increase the size of EV charging networks, power grid upgrades to help with all of that, labor got a huge boon as all of these bills encourage or require domestic manufacturing, medicare drug negotiation, we’re replacing ALL the lead pipes in public water supply lines, more fixes to tax cheats from corporations and rich people, and funds to cleanup superfund sites.
People really don’t realize how much Biden has gotten done; especially when compared to other recent presidents … like Mr. Build A Wall.
The affordable care act while controversial was also very big as you said.
I love the Sony phones. If they sold the Xperia 5 V in my market (or even if the global version was compatible with my carrier’s G5 bands . . . ) I would probably buy it in a second. They seem to be deliberately betting on only releasing the 1 V in some wealthier markets though (likely because the 5 V would undercut demand) – but I refuse to spend 1 V prices with only a couple years of guaranteed updates.
Sony phones though are by far my favourite on the market these days, and it’s a shame that they aren’t more popular (or have enough developer interest to have LineageOS support).
Headphone jack. Next to my bed is the one good Bluetooth headset, the two crappy backup sets for when it is charging, and the gigantic earmuff yardwork set for when the good one is still charging and the 2 shit ones have already died.
Does it actually belong in the phone? Putting the adc chip outside the phone gives the opportunity to upgrade your sound rather than depend on what the manufacturer bundled or even screwed up. (Nexus phones were notorious for bad headphone output.)
Get the Fiio BTR5. It costs about $100 and has Quad-DAC from ESS just like one used in flagship LG phones. It can switch between Bluetooth and USB inputs, so you can use standard headphones to do phone calls wirelessly for example.
