TIL I could sort by top 12 or 6 hours. My default is hot. I change to new sometimes.

Subscribed new. I have lots of time to kill. And since I’m using my own instance there is no sense in using any other feed, as almost every community reaching my small server is one I am subscribed to.

Bebo,

Top day on subscribed. Then if I have extra time I move on to top day all.

Top 6hrs on all, normally works well for me.

  • quick browse when I get up
  • browse at lunch
  • browse late evening/ just before bed
0x4E4F,

New… always.

Thorny_Insight,

I go thru the top 12 hours posts from the communities I’m subscribed to and if there’s nothing new there I switch to active and all.

Huge caveat here is that I have hundreds of communities blocked so that my “all feed” is even somewhat tolerable.

nickhammes,

Top - 6 hours usually. I’ll check the 1 or 12 hour versions if I’m checking more or less often than the few times a day I usually do

slazer2au,

Local - New

Then once that is consumed I move to All - New

My default is “subscribed - hot” but I check “all - top 12 hours” once or twice a day.

I actually tend to use “Hot”, it seems like a better “Active” to me.
