I like this style better than what it ultimately became. Maybe just because it feels unfamiliar.
bionicjoey, This is pretty clever and funny for a cartoon from the 50s. Feels like it would fit in with modern webcomic humour no problem

Modern version: additional panel where the kid pulls out his phone and says, “I’m gonna bully him on social media!”
