Anyone here struggle with trying to adjust brightness on Gnome in low light? At the low end, the steps are way too far apart, and at high brightness they’re almost imperceptible. Every other operating system uses a brightness curve that better matches human perception....
I’m trying to move to podman from docker but selinux prohibits me from doing so. I can’t find a source where it’s explained how I should set it up. Thx!
I’m trying to connect a university ipad (air, usb 3 type c, not tb or lightning) to my laptop (Framework laptop, intel 12th gen) running Fedora workstation 39. On Windows, I used a nifty app called Duet Display. I just used a usb-c cable to plug the ipad into the laptop, launched the app on both devices, and windows would see...

I have been using Linux on and off from the first shipped CDs from Ubuntu. Nowadays I mainly use OS X, because my employer provides us with MacBooks I can use in private and I like the UNIX base and I do not have to tinker to get things to work....

I’ve been daily driving Linux for 17 months now (currently on Linux Mint). I have got very comfortable with basic commands and many just works distros (such as Linux Mint, or Pop!_OS) with apt as the package manager. I’ve tried Debian as a distro to try to challenge myself, but have always ran into issues. On my PC, I could...
I have used Linux on and off for 15 years. I consider myself a casual user and stuck to the mainstream DEs (mostly KDE, XFCE and some Cinnamon). Gnome has been a hurdle for me before and after the big version 40 changes, I couldn’t get my head around how they handled the workspaces and workflow. At some point I I tried out an...
