When recommending people Linux Desktops for very low hardware in the past it was always stuff luke Lubuntu, Xubuntu, Puppylinux (and way more I know) etc....

I have installed nimdow window manager. I have auto-login enabled. Nimdow is the default option. The only options I have at boot are (from the bootloader): default, timeout, edit, resolution, print and help (help is not working). How am I supposed to go back to GNOME or disable auto-login? I tried accessing the recovery shell,...

I use an rmm called level. The remote support function under Wayland doesn’t allow keystrokes or mouse input in Firefox....

I purchased a second hand ThinkPad from an ebay outlet. When it arrived I wiped windows 10 from it and installed ubuntu with no issues. It runs perfect without any weird fixes needed. However, after just checking the bios to see if I could change some settings, I realised it has a supervisor password....

It’s mostly libinput. Why the hell can’t I easily change scroll speed on Gnome and not on KDE? Why does gnome have a simple tool (gnome tweaks) to change the trackpad cooldown to change the time trackpad doesn’t work as a substitute for good palm rejection and KDE doesn’t? Performance is basically the same (in microbenchmarks), they went as far as preserving the use of red black trees for an apples to apples comparison, but it’s going to improve security as binder runs inside every process....
