half_built_pyramids, Op isn’t answering shit
Just like Linux
Strider, Return code 0 is good.
0x4E4F, sh.itjust.works was having issues.
ryannathans, The irony
victorz, It works like shit
0x4E4F, (edited ) It really does 😂.
To be fair, it’s free, so I can’t complain 🤷… and it doesn’t happen often… like once every few hours…
DarkDarkHouse, sh.itbarely.works
mexicancartel, Shit.just.wont.works.most.of.the.time.but.not.every.time
0x4E4F, Exactly!
sleen, What’s the cp command?
Sheeple,
brckd, it sends your files directly to the communist party of china
0x4E4F, It does creepy pedo things on your files.
acockworkorange, Except for PDF files, they’re kindred spirits.
0x4E4F, (edited ) Yes, they’re the only exception, though there are efforts to get them working with the cp command.
cmgvd3lw, (edited ) Was linux created by linus tech tips?
Sheeple, No it was created by his good twin Linux tech tips
Steamymoomilk, this weeks episode is why you should compile everything from source

key, Why is it that ever since upgrading Fedora I need to restart the pipewire daemon every time I plug/unplug headphones or else media freezes?
Sheeple, Because you also need to install Trenchcoat for it to work
chaotic_disorganizer, Something similar is happening to me on Manjaro. Semms the newest pipewire update made it so it doesn’t auto-route devices to the main sound output anymore…
Pelicanen, One thing that works for me on Pop OS is to switch audio device in the settings, it’s like the buffer gets filled up and switching device flushes it.
possiblylinux127, Have you checked the logs?
0x4E4F, (edited ) Because the sound goes through pipes and you need to let them rest, otherwise they might burst from the sound pressure.
Psychodelic, Hmm… well that makes actually a lot of sense. Thanks!
0x4E4F, Join me for my TempleOS AMA next week 👍.
Bhaelfur, What are the advantages of pacman?
possiblylinux127, None
SoggyBread, He eats all the pellets i dropped on the ground and can get rid of ghosts
makunamatata, Also makes cute sounds and blinks on special occasions
0x4E4F, (edited ) Well, you have only 4 controls for him, up, down, left, right, whereas, let’s say Mario, also has fire and jump, so that’s 2 controls more, which makes pacman simpler, thus faster.
thecrotch, It’s free and open source, unlike Microsoft’s proprietary Ms. Pacman
pelotron, What does L.I.N.U.X. stand for?
foggianism, Linear user experience.
tourist, (edited ) Linux

unreachable,
0x4E4F, Linus Is Nuts, Use Xtreme caution.
sunoc, What should I do to use shared-memory communication from user-space on an immutable system?
possiblylinux127, It should be fine
0x4E4F, (edited ) You should try and download some RAM from the user-space. Regarding the system, you should really switch to a muted one, I was extatic when my system stopped bitching all the time.
stoicmaverick, There’s an EMACS plug-in for this
marcos, Hum… Ok.
Why does systemd have a directory of active scripts if it needs to activate the scripts on its internal configuration too?
McMonkyNSFW, Ever since the strike ended, the Directors can greenlight any script they want.
0x4E4F, Why do birds fly? Only god knows…
possiblylinux127, Because that’s how it was designed

southsamurai, Jfc!
unlawfulbooger, If you want to hear someone talk about penetration testing (heh) these things:
DEF CON 27: Adventures in smart buttplug penetration testing (semi-NSFW obviously)
Artyom, Good thing it’s written in rust. Memory leaks and race conditions are my two biggest fears while buttplug shopping.
