I get that it’s a joke, but “happy holidays” isn’t a secular alternative to “merry christmas”, as the word “holidays” is literally the words “holy” + “day”.
Part of it is also outdated regulations. They recently updated the regulations to allow adaptive lights that turn off the parts of the led array that would blind oncoming drivers while maintaining road illumination. The technology has been around a while but the US didn’t allow car makers to use it.
It wasn’t allowed in the US? Wow. Didn’t know that. In EU it’s available since about ten years. Current systems have high definition projectors with >1 million pixels which can display nearly everything on the street before you.
No one said that landlord’s are poor, landlord’s quite literally leech off of their tenants pay checks, making them even richer than they were to start, without lifting a finger, or contributing anything to society.
It sure sounds like the cases you’re talking about are landlords who are building mechanics, accountants, and living just as paycheck to paycheck trying to stay afloat just like all of you.
Sounds like a rich people laughing at poors fighting each other problem to me.
But yeah, keep blaming your neighbor and the one who you literally have to work with to live in your overpriced city. That’ll really change things this time you fake ass propaganda pushing gullible sap.
The British repeatedly gave blankets they new had smallpox. Todays evidence is that nothing happened, the virus was already dead. But it’s worth mentioning that from a Native American perspective this still happened, they received blankets and shortly after they had an epidemic. Whether they contracted it from the blankets or not is sort of besides they point, they intended to infect Native Americans with smallpox and local tribes ended up having a smallpox epidemic shortly after. Maybe they found another way, or maybe someone got infected by coming in contact with the British during one of the conflicts. But does it really matter? With or without blankets they still murdered millions (thought to be the largest genocide in human history) of native people on their own land simply because they wanted to steal all the land. They didn’t need smallpox to do that, they did it with guns, and forced starvation.
You’re welcome to Google or read my profile rather than just pretending like you know everything rather than contributing to false history and slowly changing your statements into ones I’ve already made lol.
It’s literally whitewashing the reality of native deaths. And you accuse of me of making a joke of it? My name is there for a reason.
Ohhh got it, just the end portion. Yeah that was more for… 1nk.
Disregarding that, what you said is untrue. As I told the other person, you are welcome to just Google or search my comment history. I reply regularly with the same thing when white folk get reminded of their white guilt then have to white knight my own race without realizing how blankets with smallpox was never a thing lol.
Yes, yes they are. Which is why you pay for their services.
If a you pay a mechanic to fix your car, and it breaks down on the way home, you take that shit back and tell them to fix it.
If you pick up your car and the mechanic complains of an overdraft fee from the bank, because everything hinged on you picking up your car at noon instead of 3pm, that isn’t your problem.
I would never, ever suggest anyone get into crypto. It’s far too volatile for any type of reasonable investment scheme.
The only reason I even have crypto is so I can donate to the private torrent sites I am on.
Crypto isn’t outright evil, but you really should only use it if you have things to use it for, and aren’t trying to game the system to get rich quick.
Honestly, anyone playing such “get rich quick” investing games with crypto needs to be honest with themselves that maybe they’ve got a gambling problem.

Gambling is what it is. Putting your life savings in it is stupid, but if you put a bit in, it’s a better gamble than putting it on the horses.
Agreed, which is why I labelled it a “problem.” I go gambling very rarely, but sometimes I do when I have a spare $80 that I don’t mind pissing away. But once that $80 is gone, I’m done, and I stop. I also stop when I’ve made at least 200% profit (I’ve very rarely made it that high). It’s a good point to stop if you want to do well the few times you do win.
Gambling isn’t the problem as much as the addiction to it and an industry which purposefully makes it more addictive.
Came here to say this. Of course your downvoted. Bitcoin is the snitch coin. Makes it perfect to force all businessestio use it and it ONLY with any business funds. Anything otherwise is literal embezzlement.
Monero is private and cannot be tracked. Makes it perfect for personal and any and all business MUST handle BTC then. For the rest of us, swap for your business payment on Bisq.
Go learn where the simulation universe and timless holographic universe came from before saying a theory is evidence backed. Both have leap of faith instead direct proven evidence or tested results. Both exist because they’re possible theories that cannot be proven true nor false, and most impoartantly they are not in the same scientific level or field to be compared in first place, and also they both can exist without even contradicting each other. Religon does not only try to explain the arrow of time and current universe like simulation theory tries to do and that’s one reason of many why they are incomparable. First, religon answers why the laws of existences exist which has no matching theory in theoritical physics except for because laws exist otherwise there wouldn’t be ones that create conciousness aka it is what it is otherwise it wouldn’t. Secondly, most of the religon ones hold defined philosophical consequences and requirements for your existance while the simulation one comes with no philosophy, provides you with nothing and asks nothing from you because it’s just theoratical physics that answers nothing more and still needs explanation.
I guess I wasn’t clear enough. Both of those particular theories of the origin of our existence are foolish and not based in reality. There exists Overwhelming evidence we evolved. No evidence of any alternative. You have to actively deny reality and logic to think otherwise. I will not entertain your or anyone else’s response to this, it’s garbage. Theists are a cancer on our society and tools for billionaires. It’s a convenient social hierarchy for which the plebs to police themselves. No thanks.
Computers mostly don't force software updates on you, unless you tell them to. (Caveat: IT routinely forces updates on people.) Find the setting where you specifically asked the machine to keep itself updated, and turn it off. If you can't find it, throw the machine away and get a better one where you can be in control:-P. This concludes my sermon for today, I hope you all have some Happy Holidays!:-P
Never said it was user friendly, just pointed out it’s an option that exists. And it’s a good thing that this isn’t user friendly tbh, you dont want to run Windows without updates, if you care that much, just use Linux.
Atleayt they should make the setting to enter a slower updating channel user friendly. That’s how I used before, with slower updated channel and deffering feature updates for a year and making security updates install on saturday’s when I don’t have to use my pc for productive tasks.
I thought some of the older ones, like 2000, were more secure, with ability to access on-chip security features. So ofc they threw all that out in favor of 10, the final OS that would come as a subscription service, meaning that you'd never need to buy one again. And then they threw that out too, in favor of the next one... and on and on it goes:-P.
