Michael Herr in Dispatches, his book about the Vietnam War, relates that a soldier would occasionally ingest C4 from a Claymore mine in order to cause temporary illness so that he would be sent on sick leave.
Also heard that since it burns, troops in Vietnam would break off small pieces as firestarter or cooking rations, hence the warning about how it burns and makes toxic gases.
It’s interesting they called first angle ‘British Projection’. I can see calling third angle ‘American Projection’ cause of ANSI, but it is still kinda odd.
It’s because they’re all juvenile though. They actually don’t produce a hormone needed for proper growth and that’s why they look the way they do. They are supposed to go through another stage of growth, and their appearance and existence is because of a genetic birth defect.
Yeah I’ve only bought them once and it was unintentional. Living in a place where I didn’t fully grasp thr language, I thought I was having the luckiest egg day ever until I translated the carton!
