I never finished Ultra, but the consensus I’ve heard is that normal SuMo has the better story, Ultra has the better postgame content and is at least somewhat more challenging. Which one is better really depends on what you’re looking for in a Pokémon game.
I just unlocked 4 star raids, no real interest in doing them but if I can get the other Legendary from it I guess I’ll have to unlock the 5 star raids. Do I just do 4 star raids until they unlock?
It depends on the game, and what I feel like doing. My main rule of thumb is to not use pokemon I’ve used before, or use frequently.
Regarding overleveling, I always just compulsively switch train my weakest pokemon, even or my first runs. It’s really just something you have to get used to. It’s sorta the same mindset as item hoarding. It doesn’t matter if there’s an obvious way to win now, it matters that there might be a need for my team to have other strong members later. Therefore, they always need to be trained
I’ve done enpugh raids in SV that I can 1 to 100 any pokemon on an instant thanks to all the exp candies I have. High level raids drop them a lot, and some events can get you up to 999 Large candies.
Lower level raids still drop lower tier candies. Mid game grind shouldn’t be too bad when doing the overworld auto-battles, I don’t remember what those are called.
