M500,

Circumcision it’s a game where you have to circle your opponent in precision movements.

M500,

It is really great! I just finished a watch of it a few weeks ago and I just want to watch it again.

The characters are really great.

M500,

Tutorials like this that are really simple might be a good way yo introduce the idea that Linux does not need to be difficult or complex.

Chrome is so common and it demonstrates that you can use something familiar on Linux.

M500,

Are you sure you can use a swap file with btrfs? I did not think you could do that. Maybe I was on old software last time I tried.

M500,

Sorry to be that guy, but I’m trying to promote a community here.

The title should ask, “Why were Ronald Reagan and Nancy…”

This is because the subject, Ronald Reagan and Nancy Reagan, is more than 1 person.

If anyone wants to learn English I’m moderating lemmy.ml/c/englishlearning

I’m happy to answer any questions.

M500,

Makes me wonder if this is a possible future. Just get a small nuc like computer and connect it to an egpu.

M500,

My only problem with this is that the docks are like $300. I guess igpus are getting good enough that I’ll probably never need a dgpu again.

Still surprised how well the steamdeck can handle resident evil 4 remake.

I really don’t need better graphics than that. In fact, they don’t even need to be that good.

M500,

It was suicide. Claim denied!

But he had a heart attack.

We have a receipt that shows he ate McDonald’s 3 years ago. This is clearly suicide by food.

M500,

It is quick. it does not need to load a bunch of things and in certain tasks, I can do multiple things at once.

I also find it easier to navigate and edit files with tab to complete.

M500,

I didn’t have transitional lenses, but I had the same set of lenses for like 10 years. I just used tissues and tshirt to clean them. I never had a problem with visibility, but around the sides, some coating was coming off, but I never noticed it while wearing these glasses.

M500,

Mac updates are weirdly slow.

M500,

Thanks! I suspected they were doing something under the hood but they are not as overtly transparent in this process.

M500,

You got it backwards. Is a portable pc that’s like a console.

M500,

I kinda like the skillet. I hate cooking, so can I just throw some chicken breast in there and some vegetables and then come back to a delicious meal?

I know others have loopholes, but using the loopholes ruins the fun.

M500,

If you add an item to your cart but don’t buy it right away, you will sometimes see a discount that it meant to encourage you to buy it.

M500,

I had no idea that he was brom or is it bron? I forget. Wow!

M500,

How was I so far off? I’m literally in the middle of season 7 of ds9😂

M500,

That would be great. I’d love to use that platform as a way to discuss books.

M500,

I was just thinking about why many things on Linux are better. Like the install process on Linux is years ahead of windows.

Then it occurred to me that windows only improves things that can make them money. If you need to install windows, then you can deal with the crappy installer.

Linux devs improve the parts they think need to be better. The decisions are not guided by money and can be made without bias.

M500,

I thought mechanical drives are Ok to move around if they are powered off.

M500,

Thanks! I decided to go the ssd route. It’s priced about the same as a usb drive of the same capacity and I have spare enclosures.

M500,

Thanks! I have a spare enclosure and an ssd is about the same cost as a usb drive is similar cost.

M500,

It looks like a 256gb ssd costs about the same as a flash drive. So I’ll probably go that route.

M500,

Accidentally wipes out Mint last week, but have been meaning to try out Fedora 39 Plasma. So far, I love it. I have been really busy recently, but it has been a great system so far. My SteamDeck really made me fall in love with Plasma.
