Organized religion or religion in a spiritual sense? I do believe there is some higher power that created matter and the laws of physics. But I don’t believe they care or even know about us.

Well I’m not opposed to the idea that we(the universe)were created by accident. Maybe we are a simulation, maybe I’m the creator of the universe and everything is just my brains imagination.

I don’t really know or put much thought into it, but I can’t just think. Matter was just there. Like the bug bag happened with nothing before it.

Like even the vacume of space is some thing.

Tutorials like this that are really simple might be a good way yo introduce the idea that Linux does not need to be difficult or complex.

Chrome is so common and it demonstrates that you can use something familiar on Linux.

But that’s a really great point. It’s easy to thinking of your threat model as all or nothing. And you are right. I’m not hiding from the law. I’m hiding from advertisers. If the government acquires my information then it was a mistake on their part as there is nothing there to find other than emails from my bank.

Are you sure you can use a swap file with btrfs? I did not think you could do that. Maybe I was on old software last time I tried.

First of all, I can evaluate whether I like the game or not, see if it runs well enough for me. I know Steam has a 2 hour window for a refund, but that it less convenient than testing the. Game in other ways.

I don’t have experience with them, so I’m not too sure how they work or how reliably they work.

They could also see your MAC address and lookup which vendor that MAC address matches to.

They could then use the cameras there to see who has a laptop that matches and possibly identify you that way.

I’d say if you are going to do it use a vpn no matter what.

They may still lock you out or block torrent traffic, or possibly block your vpn from working. So make sure the vpn kill switch is on in case it suddenly stops working.
