Friggin’ Moonmoon

itsnicodegallo, in 22 December 2023

I’m telling you, this can’t be a thought a human simply had.

Seleni,

Some people are just born weird.

Synthuir,

And some people bust out 4,337 of these gems!

phorq,

Anticorp,

Gary Larson certainly was.

psud,

It wasn’t a rare phrase that someone waltzed into a place and stole something. I can see how he could come to this

This might be this earliest IASIP intro gag I’ve ever seen.

Chakravanti,

Yeah cuz closed source software was so much better rolls eyes in case you missed the sarcasm

Looking at this, it occurs to me that no one has made a good pocket protector joke in a long time, probably because protectors are all but extinct.

It makes sense, but I never thought about it until now.

BlueLineBae,

I think people realized that instead of putting pens in your pocket, you can just put them everywhere else! Pens everywhere the eye can see!!!

sugar_in_your_tea,

Can confirm, I’ve misplaced enough pens that there’s always one within reach.

Guess it’s my turn: I don’t get it. Who can explain?

MrQuallzin,

Role reversal. Humans run when they see an aligator/crocodile, so the inverse is true in the comic

I don’t get this one at all. I like the side eye though.

Revonult,

I feel like its a play on a joke of somone having a balloon in a room of porcupines and suprised its popped. However, he also has a porcupine instead.

One of my favorite far sides

That’s how it actually works, right? They have something more akin to a hydraulic system, than a muscular system. I think all the pressure would be stored in the trunk, right?

Edit: never mind, I’m thinking of arachnids, not insects.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arachnid_locomotion

Ants have muscles:

www.nytimes.com/2007/11/20/science/20qna.html

They both use hemolymph but only arachnids use them as hydraulics.

I don’t find the Far Side funny at all. Is it supposed to be?
