Duchess, in [ULPT] Fake it 'til you make it, a quick guide.

I’d personally recommend liberal use of chatgpt for your resume and cover letter

somethingspecial, in ULPT: If you do office work and want to get some time for yourself, head to fakeupdate.net and enter fullscreen to simulate an endless windows update

I don’t even need that for an endless update or computer locked up scenario. My work-issued laptop has those features built in!

Greenbubbleb0y, in ULPT: if you’re stuck on an annoying call, put your phone on airplane mode instead of just hanging up.

How can I do this at work at the call center. Pull the Ethernet cables? XD

burrp, in ULPT: Using Teams and want to stop your status from going Idle? Start a meeting using “Meet now” on teams and change your status to Available.

I leave mine on Appear Away most of the time. People in my work area know they can message me anytime. People who think I’m away will not expect an immediate reply.

investorsexchange, in ULPT: Find and befriend your co-workers that don't drink, because if there's ever a work function with drink tickets, you can try to get theirs.

As someone who doesn’t drink, this is good advice. I was always happy to give my drink tickets to someone who would enjoy them.

sharksrtrans, in ULPT: If you live in a building where you have to pay for the use of shared washer/dryer, look up your buildings washer/dryer model on eBay and order a key for it.

Hard part is when they have a coin lock that requires a key w/a serial number

tom, in ULPT: If you live in a building where you have to pay for the use of shared washer/dryer, look up your buildings washer/dryer model on eBay and order a key for it.

This is going to come in handy in future!

UprisingVoltage, in ULPT: if you’re stuck on an annoying call, put your phone on airplane mode instead of just hanging up.

Thank you, I love this

majkeli, in ULPT Whenever buying something online, try using the coupon code "military". Many sites have a military discount and don't require any proof of military service.

If it’s abused it will be removed as a perk and military folks won’t be able to use it.
