It runs all the way down, flanking both sides. I pretend it’s a moat for protection. So lush in some places it’s difficult to not touch with your car as you drive along.

Second try at making limoncello; the peels were infused for 8 weeks in a locally distilled 45% gin. Used a coffee filter to filter out any impurities, and I think I trapped too much of the oils… leading to a crystal-clear liqueur, rather than the cloudy-neon-yellow I was going for. Oh well. Next time I’ll get actual...

I have a whole bunch of them. They are possibly a bit older (70s, 80s) judging by other contents of the junk box they are from....
