As someone from the west coast of The States, I can’t say I’ve ever seen a hot drink vending machine in real life. At least not here where I live.

Anything Jam Hsiao works, but I really like his song A Love Song For You. I also found out about a group called 製燥者StoryMaker and I absolutely love their song Sin of Sloth. I have so many different songs, mostly vocaloid and other related software, songs that I like that are in Chinese, Japanese, some in Korean, and even a song in Ukrainian that I like, but I ain’t doing a super list of songs.

Does AI-generated art posted on lemmy bother you?

I find that i can spot AI Images fairly easily these days, especially the sort of fantastical tableaus that get posted to the various AI communities around lemmy. I’m tired of seeing them; it all looks the same to me. Was wondering if im being too sensitive, or if other people are similarly bored of the constant unimaginative...

I just use it because I like to see where a website’s server is supposedly located. No hiddeb features, just server location.

For me, I cannot go without the flagfox extension on PC. Otherwise, I’d probably just be going over extensions everyone else has been beating like a dead horse.

The new logo looks sleek and nice, but I personally just really like more complex logos.

Yeah, windows task manager doesn’t do shit if you are already low on resources. My desktop doesn’t have a lot of resources to be used up and there have been a few times task manager is just as bad as the programs I want it to kill due to lack of resources.

Name a popular live action show from the past maybe close to a decade or sooner that aired in America and I probably have not seen it. Or if I have, it’s because my parents watch it and I happen to be in the area for a little bit.

The big problem I have with joycons is my big, meaty hands. Makes it slightly harder for me to comfortably hold those small controllers when they’re not connected to the switch itself. I’ve totally been thinking of just going down to the nearby game shop one day and getting a controller, if I ever get more switch games to make the investment worthwhile.

And in the latest games you go to school and then they want you to explore the whole region. They absolutely shook up the plot by making the headmaster want you to explore rather than your mom! It’s revolutionary!

I don’t have enough experience with either x11 (or whatever else is used) or Wayland to have a well thought out opinion, but Wayland seems promising to me because of waydroid.

  1. Ask if nuclear war has occured.
  2. If they can go back to their time and grab things to bring something back, I’d have them bring back (assuming they still have them) a USB portable hard drive (or something similar) that has many petabytes with of data (assuming it exists).
  3. Ask if they wanna play games because I don’t know what else to do with a time traveler.

Well, 2 weeks into having a laptop running linux, I accidentally deleted the etc file and can’t get back the few files on it that I created. Luckily, none of it is really all that important and the rest was already backed up onto a thumb drive.

Now I have the task of reinstalling and setting things back up and getting a quick assignment done for one of my classes. Thankfully I’ve got plenty of time to do both.

The biggest problem I have with Organic Maps is that it doesn’t have the bus routes for the city I live. Otherwise, yeah, I support it.

As someone who only ever visits Lemmy on a phone app, this is good info to know.

Ya know, the problem I have with the DSi sound recording app thing (I know this is a 3DS, but I digress) is that I got a new SD card and formatted it to see if I could move recorded files to my laptop. Nope! All files were corrupted and deleted after putting in that card and booting up the app.

I’m only using PulseAudio because that was what came with the base installation. I’ll definitely check out PipeWire+WirePlumber to see if that works.
