BeardedGingerWonder,

Look at Mr Richie Rich here with his component cables, we had RF boxes and liked it.

BeardedGingerWonder,

Janeway the butcher would just heartlessly murder them regardless, it doesn’t matter.

BeardedGingerWonder,

Yeah, willing to give them a second chance, but very much want this to be addressed first.

The Irish government wants to pass a law that could see you or your loved ones jailed for possession of memes, cartoons or any content that could be deemed "hateful".

The Bill includes no definition of hate and is wide open to abuse by bad actors. Defend free speech – say no to this legislation, and any legislation of is kind… Anywhere!...

BeardedGingerWonder,

Oh god. You’ve probably hit the nail on the head both directions all the same, how many methods/classes/variables are going to have twitter in the name somewhere. Or random bash scripts that pass an arg to something else from a job scheduler. This shit gives me the heebeejeebees just thinking about it.

BeardedGingerWonder,

Willing to bet some motherfucker has hardcoded twitter domain on the backend in one (or many) link generation process(es) on the basis “it’s not like they’re going to change the name” and now it borks occasionally if they use x.com

BeardedGingerWonder,

Funny, there’s me going “oh look, fuck face plays bass”

BeardedGingerWonder,

I think the main reason is it’s preinstalled on most PCs and most people have no idea Linux exists let alone how how to install a new OS.

BeardedGingerWonder,

This is horrific, and I’ll eat just about anything 😂

BeardedGingerWonder,

If it’s easier to use how are we supposed to keep the Emacs people away?

BeardedGingerWonder,

Both say it how it’s spelt, it’s just spelt differently in British and American English.

BeardedGingerWonder,

No, Bri’ish, did you not see what they wrote?

BeardedGingerWonder,

Sometimes the reason the pros aren’t using a thing is because they have spent 10 hours a day, 6 days a week for 20 years learning how to do it that way. Sometimes the tool is just more sensible.

BeardedGingerWonder,

Anyone got any idea on data retention requirements for Lapland?

BeardedGingerWonder,

He’s probably using cloud services, makes sense, why build out infra he’ll have to manage 365 when he basically needs it 2 months a year?
