BilboBargains,

It’s nice to meet another great humanitarian. People don’t realise the sacrifices we make in order to safeguard the public from accidental masturbators.

BilboBargains,

I love comedy podcasts, The Jeselnek and Rosenthal Vanity Project, a favourite. His style is dark humour and it seems that a significant proportion of the audience actually believe some of the things he jokes about. I think it’s one of the reasons they rarely field audience questions and never phone calls.

BilboBargains,

Yeah, those guys are walking the high wire and making it look easy. One slip could result in a Dave Chappelle.

BilboBargains,

Finish by eating the sleeve with a nice Chianti.

BilboBargains,

These trees are some of the most fascinating, awe inspiring and majestic life forms I’ve ever had the privilege to witness. I planted three of them in a field (a big space is required) and it makes me happy to think that one day there could be this enormous trio breaking the skyline. I’ll be long gone but they are growing crazy fast already.

BilboBargains,

This email should have stayed in Draft for a few hours and then come back to remove all the expletives. At least Mauro has something to hang on the wall of his crapper.

BilboBargains,

You will never reap the rewards of being trapped under water for hours with that kind of attitude.

BilboBargains,

It’s what I think on the rare occasions I get a look at my wife’s genitalia.

BilboBargains,

Is the collective noun for COBOL programmers, cobblers?

BilboBargains, (edited )

There is no relationship between what you earn and your skill level. If there were, theoretical physics would be a top paying field. The reason is, this is capitalism and we are horrible negotiators. If you want to earn top money in a technical field, the best you can do is insert yourself in a revenue stream. Roles that are critical to revenue like a billing system or associated with a intrinsically valuable commodity e.g. petrochemical, are more lucrative than other similarly skilled professions.

BilboBargains,

You definitely don’t want a blunt force trauma to this delicate area

BilboBargains,

It wasn’t capitalists, it was the invisible hand of the market.

BilboBargains,

I like making and repairing stuff. Currently repairing a wheelbarrow and creating a contraption out of two defunct mountain bikes that will carry logs and other heavy loads.

BilboBargains,

Efficient at what, making profit for themselves?

BilboBargains,

At what point are we going to accept that prohibition and abstinence has failed? We need to legalise all drugs and teach our children harm reduction. Removing the profit motive for ever more compact and potent drugs is the only way we’re going to make a dent in this problem. We banned opium and got heroin, we banned heroin and got fentanyl, we banned fentanyl and now watching the morgues fill up while the cartels invent the next monstrously potent chemical.
