DavidGarcia,

I gotta be honest, Microsoft did a great job with the UX of their 365 ecosystem. It’s great as a user, but as an administrator or small business it is a nightmare.

But in a large corpo setting, it works really well.

The wider Linux community could learn a lot from it.

DavidGarcia,

I don’t know, I think UX has vastly improved since I started using it in 2008 and is still improving every year. It’s just all these cloud and communication features we’re behind on.

It would be cool to have something P2P, like Syncthing and Tox, integrated into all mainstream distros for sync and communacation Then you have some sort of a single sign-on that connects you to all your devices and people you want to communicate with. Instead of Microsoft login you have a built in pw manager that automatically creates and stores (and syncs) accounts for you and so on.

DavidGarcia,

Where do you get the Final Fantasy source code. Asking for a friend (I’m not a cop btw, I swear)

DavidGarcia,

they should just let the concept artists make those movies. their shit is always 1000x better than the end product

DavidGarcia,

ur not supposed to step beyond the yellow line, it is dangerous. I hope they were arrested

DavidGarcia,

I need a couple bil to train an AI model on ALL mythology and folklore from all cultures of the world to then create real gnomes, elves, trolls etc by sticking it in robots and releasing them into the wild, then they will constantly clandestinely steal materials from us to construct more fae.

DavidGarcia,

As I navigate through an existence riddled with unceasing horrors, each moment a reflection of life’s harsh trials, my inner strength shines through. This journey, fraught with relentless challenges, becomes a testament to my enduring spirit, unwavering in the face of adversity.

DavidGarcia,

from what I’ve seen pretty much the only newly built “pre-war” architecture comes from citizens movements. You know, the people that actually have to live and work in these buildings, that can’t flee to their island on their mega-yacht.

It only takes around 3-5% more money, not to build oppulent buildings like this, but toned down, still beautiful versions that used to be the norm before the World Wars. But they are 100x more beautiful than any of the McMansions and shoe boxes we mostly build today.

DavidGarcia,

My opinions are too strong for you, traveler.

DavidGarcia,

well, it did help the middle class in the places they moved those jobs to lol, just not here

DavidGarcia,

So sick of these “what if we mix pop culture reference X and pop culture reference Y with AI 😲😲😲” subs

DavidGarcia,

wouldn’t it be ironic if this tree will now live on for hundreds of years, because the act of cutting it down made people care about it?

I wouldn’t be surprised if it had just uncerimoniously died a couple decades from now with no one really caring except maybe locals and some photograpby nerds.

Not sure how long sycamores live, but I’m sure we’ll now invent tree immortality gene therapy specifically for this tree.

DavidGarcia,

mother gas car is such an interesting place
