DavidGarcia,

I need a couple bil to train an AI model on ALL mythology and folklore from all cultures of the world to then create real gnomes, elves, trolls etc by sticking it in robots and releasing them into the wild, then they will constantly clandestinely steal materials from us to construct more fae.

DavidGarcia,

mother gas car is such an interesting place

DavidGarcia,

from what I’ve seen pretty much the only newly built “pre-war” architecture comes from citizens movements. You know, the people that actually have to live and work in these buildings, that can’t flee to their island on their mega-yacht.

It only takes around 3-5% more money, not to build oppulent buildings like this, but toned down, still beautiful versions that used to be the norm before the World Wars. But they are 100x more beautiful than any of the McMansions and shoe boxes we mostly build today.

DavidGarcia,

christianity is the sole reason why genetically engineered crocodiles exist

DavidGarcia,

that makes sense, I noticed it’s usually way further down on other sites. I think it’s just people who haven’t watched much, not knowing what an actually good show is like.

It’s Shōnen afterall, I used to like bad shows too when I was young and dumb.

DavidGarcia,

bet he learned that at the Mongolian Basket Weaving Forum

Rare tumor with teeth discovered in Egyptian burial from 3,000 years ago (www.livescience.com)

While excavating an ancient Egyptian cemetery, archaeologists made a rare discovery: an ovarian tumor nestled in the pelvis of a woman who died more than three millennia ago. The tumor, a bony mass with two teeth, is the oldest known example of a teratoma, a rare type of tumor that typically occurs in ovaries or testicles....

DavidGarcia,

ah yeah, that one was kinda fun

DavidGarcia,

true, this one probably fits the requirements best. it was alright. I’m really surprised this isn’t a bigger genre. Something like The Saga of Tanya the Evil but with Monsters would be cool.

DavidGarcia,

That’s just factually wrong. The Middle East (and by extension the Levant) has always been a hotbed of diversity because its unique geography.

You would have found anything from black to pale white (but tanned obviously) skin, black to blond/red hair, brown to blue eyes. Most were darker skinned and dark haired like a modern Middle Eastener, but it wasn’t a monoculture, like implied here.

Easiest counter example are the Scythians, but there are countless more.

DavidGarcia,

hello fellow escalation spiral enjoyer, let us revel in bloodshed together!

DavidGarcia,

it needs the cyan to barter for black with the fairies of the ink dimension

DavidGarcia,

I’m just a beginner and I live a totally different biome, not sure I can help you much. I guess learn the basics of foraging and plant&mushroom ID (like never eat something you aren’t certain you’ve identified correctly). See if there’s any local organizations that can help you out. If you’re a social type you could make friends with some local forager and gather seeds and plants to propagate. If not, buy some books about your local area, find a foraging YouTuber in your area. I generally use plant&mushroom ID apps to scan everything I see, look up the plant and what its uses are, what are common poisonous lookalikes. You will get the hang of it pretty quickly and have a few plants that you can confidently identify. I’ve looked it up and perhaps you can find these in your local area: Cattails, Watercress, Water Mint, Water Lily, wapato, Water Hyacinth, Elderberry, Pawpaw, Fiddlehead Ferns and it seems many of the culinary and medicinal mushrooms should grow where you live too.

I guess if you’re planning to grow non-natives too, you could try to plant some perannial/ self-propagating/hardy staple crops. Taro, water spinach, wild rice, lotus, sorghum etc… Perhaps the Chinampa technique works in a swamp? Perhaps you could use the swamp water for self-wicking raised garden beds to grow regular crops that are pretty hands off like sweet potatoes. Might want to do a water test to check for salinity and excess nutrients tho.

I guess you can always have some gator barbecue too, if you are so inclined.

DavidGarcia,

hedge mustard is definitely one to know if you like the tast of arugula, wasabi, horseradish or paint thinner

DavidGarcia,

When you think about it, the concept of a “meat rose” is horrible. Sounds like somthing the Ayleid would come up with.

DavidGarcia,

I just realized that 6 is basically a dick pictogram

DavidGarcia,

that’s why you’d make the level of UVB radiation low enough that people could safely spend 24/7 under it, but high enough that it provides a health benefit

You might not get 100% of your vit D levels this way, but perhaps just a fraction of it. Depends on how the risk benefit calculation works out.

and of course infrared is generally harmless as long as it’s not strong enough to cook you.

DavidGarcia,

the CDC would have to slap the FDA and DoE until they comply I guess
