There’s nothing keeping the comments up to date with the code. Comments should be sparse and only on sections that aren’t obvious why they’re being done
2024 is the Year of Linux on the Desktop, at least for my boyfriend. He’s running Windows 7 right now, so I’ll be switching him to Ubuntu in a few days. Ubuntu was chosen because Proton is officially supported in Ubuntu.

Oh come on. It’s text. You can stop reading at any time. Not everything has to have trigger warnings, which are generally not effective and can in fact be harmful
This is a shitposting sub. There’s lots of stuff that lots of people don’t want to read. Doesn’t mean every post needs to have a description of what will be in the post. And marking it as NSFW just devalues the point of NSFW
Usually how these things work is that it’s either employees donating and having to list their employer. Or the employer will match any donation to a non profit from any employee up to a certain amount.
So this could be 1 employee donating 3k and Microsoft matching it
think murder is abohherent, baby murder especially so. I don’t know when the right to life begins, so I err on the side of caution
Why stop there? You have no idea, right? So why do you masturbate or use condoms? You’re killing millions of potential babies!
If you don’t know, you should err on the side of caution for the rights of the people who you do know are real.
Or maybe you should just stay out of it, because as you say, you don’t know. Leave it to the scientists and doctors who DO know and who almost universally support abortion access.

Non-religious Republicans of Lemmy, how do you reconcile your non-religious convictions with a party that bases a lot of its policies on religion?
E.g. abortion rights, anti-LGBTQ, contempt for atheism, Christian nationalism, etc.
