I imagine they don't really want things. Usually in that scenario if someone insists you can ask for charitable donations in your name and in the case of bill gates he has specific charities to give to.

Why do most people refuse to accept that they are wrong

I have come across a lot’s of people like these. like 99% of them. Sometimes it makes me think twice if what i am saying is wrong? What’s wrong with them. Is it so hard to swallow your pride and acknowledge that the other person is speaking facts? When they come to know they are wrong they proceed to insult/make fun of...

Truth is a difficult place to get there and the farther you stray from it the harder it is to get to. This is why those who lie intentionally eventually find themselves not living in reality. IE our worst politicians.

I think there is always going to be stuff like that even without sealioning. I have had some back and forths where it feels, at least to me, like they can only talk about the last post and don't take the whole conversation into context. It often results in arguing about something that had nothing to do with the main point of contention and even one sided to some degree. like they are aguing that I am saying something that I don't think im saying. I don't think its always from disengueness. Just relative thought processes I suppose. I do get frustrated though but I am 100% what I write seems wack to folks. Maybe like this very paragraph.

Anyone else feels like they want to destroy their old sim and never give their contact to anyone ever again?

If signal gets the new username feature, this just might be what i do, so fricking tired of people just blindly giving random apps and websites their contact permissions and they get my contact as well, and there’s nothing i can do about it

other people in the thread are more detailed but as hong kong protested being swallowed up he licked the boots of the ccp with his public statements. Hes a shill at this point pure and simple. There is some personal stuff about him but for me I have friends in hong kong. Can you imagine being swallowed up by russia and one of your own saying how its only right and natural and really you are russian. I won't watch a film by him at this point. I think karate kid was actually the last one I saw and I did not really think of it as a jackie chan movie or I might have skipped it. Wish I had as it was pants. Pretty much should do that if I hear a smith child is in the movie at this point.

What modes of transport do you really like?

For me personally, trams are right up there. Aside from the main issue of sharing the roads instead of having a dedicated line, they really make it easy to get from one part of a city to another, especially for wheelchair users. They’re usually as frequent as buses, but much faster. The stations are much more attractive...

Nothing beats walking to me. I wish I could walk everywhere but stupid lack of endless time. In general I enjoy travel more that is slow but consistently moving. So train over bus and I just hate planes because sure the plane is fast but most of your journey your just sitting there or in lines. but yeah it would be walk then bike then metro train then other train. Plane and bus are pretty unappealing to me so not sure where to put either. At that point I might actually prefer a car, which I know is verbotem. Actually busses are not to bad if the jaunt is short enough but really then I might as well bike anyway.
