Oh man, I have this problem to a high degree. Almost anywhere outside the home I’m embarrassed to masturbate. I feel this way at the grocery, the laundromat, even dentists office. Hospitals are intimidating, so it’s a great place to start, but there are lots of places we should be putting these. Hopefully they come out with a portable version to make this something that we don’t need to be embarrassed about anywhere really.

Sci-hub Legal Case Status

Sci-Hub is a site to access scholar articles that are behind a paywall. The site has been involved in several legal cases such as Elsevier et al. v. Sci-Hub et al. (2005), a lawsuit filled by the American Chemical Society which was lost by default after failing to defend itself, and many other complaints resulting in ISP...

If sci-hub manages not to lose this (unlikely unfortunately), will they start putting new articles into the database? It hasn’t been updated for several years I believe. Such a shame - accessing these articles is very cost prohibitive. It’s not uncommon to need to access more than 100 articles to write a good scientific paper. Sci-hub has advanced medical and basic scientific research far more than I think most people realize. I would be happy to donate toward their legal fees.

To be fair you are probably better off using a bidet as diarrhea often means repeat events and that’s a lot of wiping and you can create sores. Also, with infectious diarrhea the very act of wiping is a high risk event for spreading those germs. The f22 is an incredible flying machine and the M28 is likely not the most luxurious way to travel but it is much better than flying on Spirit airlines.

Makes Me think when are phone manufacturers going to focus less on a few more pixels on the camera and make a phone rugged enough that for routine daily use it doesn’t need a damn case? I’ve never liked cases but now so many phones have Cameras that stick out such that the only way to get them to even sit flat is to level them off with a case. Just make the battery a little bigger and thicken the backing of the actual phone! Also raise the titanium bezel just 1mm and the glass is much less likely to ever make direct impact.

Censorship is absolutely rampant on Lemmy. I don’t post particularly controversial stuff, but I am an active commenter and I’ve noticed that mods will just wipe my comments or those of others on a whim. I think this is a huge issue and one of the biggest downsides about switching from reddit. I very rarely had comments...

Vast majority of it is just cheap coffee labeled to be this and marked up for tourists / gift market. Have tried it, just tastes like cheap old coffee. It’s not something genuinely sought after by coniseurs.
