The same wayland bait is posted every week from new ban evading accounts which eventually also get banned.
They keep coming and getting shown the door, like Barney here.

Yea, don’t hesitate to report them.
Honestly, I literally couldn’t give a shit that anyone criticizes Wayland itself, but they’re a generally toxic user that’s easily recognizable by their constant hateboner for Wayland (among other things).

  1. The fediverse is decentralized.
  2. The alleged flaws have nothing to do with centralization.
  3. Unmoderated anonymous online spaces turn to absolute cesspools of Spam, ads, CSAM, other pedo shit and various abusive material. Hell, moderating such spaces is already an uphill battle.
  4. Sure, I’ll just install random unvetted software with no source code. Being gullible enough to install this thing can’t be fixed by joining a lemmy community about privacy.

I memorize the seed and calculate the next token in my head.

Passwords in KeePass, totp in Aegis.
My phone does have both, but they each have their own encryption.

Nice. Very responsive on mobile too which is nice.

I’m glad school’s over… but then at least school was meant to have an ending, unlike this grind.

All binoculars are binoculars you can use with your feet. I have the toes dexterity for it, but no longer flexible enough though.

I do, but only because it knows about upcoming traffic and construction so I can avoid it altogether instead of having to react once you’re stuck in it.

By now I think in either, but not always the one I mean to speak in. So sometimes I’m looking for words in my native language and I only have the English one in mind.

I think there are even a few grammatical errors that native english speaking people are more likely to be doing that us folks who learned it as a second language.
When I see things like “should of”, “would of”, “for all intensive purposes” it’s usually coming from a native speaker.
I think someone who learned speaking the language before first and writing it second is more likely to make these.
I assimilated “should”, “have” and “of” before I really used contractions, so I never make that mistake.
It’s even somewhat jarring to read.
should of… of what?

/all isn’t really all the fediverse though, it’s “all” from communities at least one user on your home instance has subscribed to.
If no one ever subbed or browsed there from your instance, it won’t show in /all.
It’s plausible some instances have different amounts of porn in their /all feed.

Makes sense.
I even have an account on yours already and is actually the first one I made.
Choosing an instance has been the most awkward part yet. More easily accessible info on instances' admins, hosting situation, funding, etc. might help.

My first visit was very confusing because I tried browsing a community that had just defederated us, which really isn't too obvious as a noob. I registered on lemm.ee to see what beehaw was even about, and I'm going back and forth between the two homes trying to choose.

I very much like the /c/agora idea on sh.itjust.works so I'm definitely sticking around.
I think an important part is getting to know your instance's admin as a person, and I haven't really taken the time to do that.
See ya around
