You’re not. Lower Decks and Strange New Worlds are very popular. They’re fantastic shows. The ones people don’t really like currently are Picard and Discovery.
I’ve reached season three of Discovery, in my effort to give it a second chance, and I’m liking it a lot more. I’ve heard the third season of Picard was good too, but I’ve not made it that far yet.
They both just took the TNG approach of not really hitting their stride until the third season. Stamets’ meme is on point, as usual.
I am looking forward to what they do to sell me on this new Ezri Dax meets Wesley and Beverly Crusher character. I hope they learn from Beverly’s ghost-related mistakes lol
If you have Industrial Replicators though, you have the power to power them. Or maybe not, maybe Bajor didn’t have the infrastructure to power them, and Star Fleet sent them with giant, but limited batteries
They had other places on the planet that wanted to use them though, and with how chaotic Bajor was post-occupation, I doubt they had a planetary power grid, so they would have been able to use more
I’m pretty sure either one of the recent episodes of Lower Decks, or the episode of TNG with that guy that doesn’t look like Tom Paris, had a minor character that was some kind of junior captain, with three full, and one hollow pip
The point of Rotom as far as i can tell is that it inspirits devices that have a ‘special motor’ in them. This is mentioned in many of its pokedex entries, even so far as to say that it can only use a specific model of discontinued washing machine (this also raises questions about the origin of this motor)....
The games presented the Rotom Pokedex like it was a big technological breakthrough, so I assumed what that means is they were able to miniaturize whatever Rotom required to go into a machine, and put it in the Pokedex, and then your phone.
If we actually had this ability, our lives would be crazy. You can just beam yourself an entire lifetime as your D&D character, or in your favorite video game or novels. And then just be back.

With all due respect, Captain, I am the head of Starfleet IT, and I have it on good authority that if you try to replicate a replicator, you can break the space time continuum. (pixelfed.social)

Why can rotom inhabit phones and the pokedex?
