I always thought my city’s bus system would be more efficient if they didn’t have to bother with charging everyone $1.50 for a ticket when they board.

In fact, they did have free fare this summer in an effort to improve the air quality. Ridership was much higher, and the driver didn’t have to mess with the finicky cash machine at every stop.

Most of the people who take the bus here are poor and/or disabled, anyway. I’d love it if they could do away with fares, but I know they’re doing the best they can with their limited funding.

Zero. Maybe it’s the OCD, but I never ever leave open a tab I’m not actively using, even if it means I open and close the same few tabs every five minutes for 8 hours every day.

I sprained my hand using a stapler today. The Easy is not Flowing.

Takes me back to the time I was a kid and got lost riding my bike in my suburb. I ended up on the other side of the town, and to get home my stupid ass rode on the shoulder of the major highway, no helmet, going the wrong direction.

Made it home unharmed by sheer luck lmao.

Ironically, when I was in middle school it was a common joke to lick people’s elbows when they weren’t paying attention. The joke was that they might not notice it at first, since elbows supposedly had few nerve endings.

It was about as common as untying people’s shoe laces, for a while. Meaning: very common.
