Kase,

Tfw I paid for a subscription to access my textbook this semester.

Granted, it’s not just a textbook. My Spanish classes use VHL Central, which includes a textbook with videos, audio files, virtually endless practice assignments, and pretty much all of our assignments and course material.

It’s a really great tool, I guess I just wish I could keep access to it after I graduated. (I think you can purchase a textbook, but definitely not the full program.) Ah, well. ¯\(ツ)/¯

Kase,

Ok so I looked it up and ended up skimming through the entire book - I wasn’t planning to, but I got carried away because it’s really good! Anyway, I’m not sure if I found what you were talking about. I thought maybe it was the scene on page 168, but that wasn’t two males (one was cis female and the other was non binary and AFAB), and it wasn’t both sucking each other off, it was one character wearing a strap-on over clothes and the other giving a blow job. Was there a different scene that I glossed over somewhere?

Kase,

one of the books that were banned showed males sucking each other off.

Which one is that?

Kase,

Pfft, millennial slang is so weird. I mean, what’s updog?

Kase,

I was curious how many people in prison are forced to work. If this source is correct, it’s about 2/3. But the conditions of that work are apparently worse than I’d thought. Here’s the original report (posted last year) and an article with a summary. Correction is welcome if this is inaccurate ◉‿◉

Kase,

How would you know, punk? What are you, a reindeer?

Kase,

When I was a kid I had a friend who would go around saying you can fit a raccoon in your butthole. I’ve never forgotten it, but I’ve also never worked up the nerve to find out if that’s true (for clarity, I mean via internet search, not via experimentation). It haunts me (・_・;)

Kase,

Thanks for reminding me to pay rent today :/

Kase,

In my defense, stranger, I’ve never even seen a bear. And, idk, they’re kinda cute. In theory, lol.

Kase,

It’s crazy how much names get garbled through immigration paperwork! My roommate moved from Africa (idk what country), and I’ve always known her as Ndeye (pronounced like “day” in English). Well apparently, that’s not her “real” name! She told me that where she’s from, “Ndeye” is a common title given as a prefix to a girl’s name, and it means something along the lines of “mother.” In her country, everyone called her by her first name. But when she moved here, on her new birth certificate they wrote Ndeye as her first name and her actual first name as her middle name. She told me she just decided to go with it. Ndeye is plenty unique here!

It’s unfathomable to me that they’re so careless with people’s names (like in your story), and that for my roommate, the paperwork meant for immigrants has such a rigid US-style structure. I’ve never met anyone who was especially upset about their name being changed like that, but it seems super messed up to me! 🤷

Course, I guess it’s a relatively smaller problem compared to the rest of the issues with the immigration process. Sorry for the rant lol.

Kase,

Sometimes wheelchair user here. Character can kiss my ass <3

(I’m not expressing anger at you, just at my city’s mangled sidewalks)

Kase,

Sorry but I gotta get on the leaderboard

Kase,

No, that’s “rank”

A manc is an adult male human.
