Kase,

And you would know, Margot Robbie! Good work!

Kase,

Can I just say, this is a wonderful template. 🐕

Kase,

So true. I’d like to add that also because of ads, social media and other websites are full of nonsense clickbait content, and every part of the user experience is designed to keep you scrolling through said content. Even with an adblocker, it’s like wading through a swamp to find anything actually worth looking for. (Of course, there are still websites with no ads, and even the ones with ads aren’t always horrible. But generally, shit sucks.)

Kase,

No no, Australia is the little one in the bottom right corner

Kase,

We have exactly one grocery store in my city - that I’m aware of - that allows its cashiers to sit. It’s Aldi lol.

Kase,

Pretty sure that’s illegal. You have to leave the back license plate visible. /s

On second thought, is that a license plate on the front? Where I’m from (in the US), it’s on the back, but there’s also a spot for one on the front where people like to put decorative plates (license plates, not fine china lmao…). Anyway, I never thought about why there’s a spot for one on the front. Do some places put the actual license plate in front? Do some people that here and I’ve just never noticed? Or do car manufacturers just put a holder there for people’s decorative ones?

If I sound like an idiot, it’s just because I’m young and I don’t drive. But now I’m curious lol.

Kase,

It would be really nice if they’d actually jump away tho :(

Kase,

Off topic, but yesterday I tried a tamale for the first time. Apparently they’re a common Christmas food in Mexico, so my boss brought some to our party. The first bite or two were strange (as a very picky US-American), but then it was really good! 10/10 would recommend and all that

Kase,

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don’t care what humans think is impossible.

Kase,

I like to think that there was a person holding the camera who knew all along and just wanted to see how long the guy would stand there

Kase,

My other favorite big blue username! Hi!!

Kase,

Zero. Maybe it’s the OCD, but I never ever leave open a tab I’m not actively using, even if it means I open and close the same few tabs every five minutes for 8 hours every day.

Yeah, probably the ocd lmao.

Kase,

Wait, you guys have been unwrapping them?

I’m sorry… What?

Kase,

I did not expect I’d be laughing at a Israel/Hamas joke today. Well done

Meanwhile, gen z: the meme generation

Kase,

Maybe it’s unlikely for this to happen, but I wonder if it’d be possible for yt to go down like reddit did. Yt makes a series of bad decisions, so a lot of people move from there to similar platforms. The other services don’t have much content right now, but from what I here, neither did Lemmy before the “exodus.”

I get that reddit and youtube are very different types of platforms and that the whole reddit thing happened because of pretty specific circumstances, but idk, maybe something vaguely similar could happen.
