Same here, I don’t feel like the tests did more than stress me out. They’re just shortcuts to force people to study but I feel like I learned more when the will came from within. I mean, I got pretty far out there on certain topics that were not required but explained a whole lot.

Cakes also have layers and everybody loves cakes. Wear a cake.

From the House of Anárion? (Jk, I had never heard of this food and sounds like either a warrior or a place in Middle Earth)

Lemminary,

I have some extended family who does this. They’re not good people.

Lemminary,

I am so swole. My neck is thicker than my shoulders.

Lemminary,

To label anything and everything you disagree with on the news as propaganda, regardless of whether it makes sense or not.

Lemminary,

I just don’t take it seriously and make fun of it. I think it can exist on the side for the… ahem… edgelords. lol

Lemminary,
Lemminary,

Ugh, imagine that! Me, a Latin American commenter who has never met a Belgian in their life

Lemminary,

Use sentence case and periods. I’ve seen other communities where omitting periods was fine. Also, try not to use emojis but if you do, do it sparingly.

Lemminary,

Does the teleportation come with a bampf noise or do I have to carry my own bluetooth speaker and a button? This is make or break for me.

Lemminary, (edited )

Plot twist: The conspiracies are true and NASA drugs you and abducts to you experiment on you and learns to milk that sweet teleportatium out your ears while tied up in an underground warehouse somewhere in Area 51.

Lemminary,

Yes! Although someone requested an Elderman sound and now I want the sound effect to be customizable via an app.

Lemminary,

You feel very comfortable calling everyone a fucking idiot, though. Do you know what rule #1 is?

Lemminary,

Does anyone else have cock block dreams? Sometimes I’m trying to get down with the person but everything gets in the way, it’s frustrating lol

Lemminary, (edited )

Is this the latest hate trend? Is it that time of the year again?

Lemminary, (edited )

Uhh… Building apps and websites and converting images to and from webp without much of an issue. It’s kind of weird to hear about this hate on webp given that it’s a great tool. But considering it’s a Google product and that I’m kind of new to the Fediverse, it now makes sense that I missed the hate altogether. I’ve yet to meet another fellow dev with strong opinions on it.

Lemminary,

Schmigadoon!

It’s very light-hearted and campy. Well, at least the first season is.

Lemminary,

I would love to but then I’d have to restrain myself from not permanently rolling my eyes to the back of my head with some of the replies. I speak from experience elsewhere.

Lemminary,

I’m not complaining about the hardships of life. And it’s not necessarily the pointless criticism but replies from people who miss the point entirely, get random ideas of why I posted things, type up some throwaway nit-picking commentaries over the most trivial things, or just being all around rude and condescending instead of downvoting and moving on, etc. And what do I get in return for putting up with that? Imaginary internet points. I get the same feeling of participation from just commenting with a fraction of the effort, so I’d rather do that.

Lemminary,

Tales from the Loop. It’s wonderfully imaginative, mysterious and uncanny. Highly recommended even if you’re not into sci-fi (I’m not).

Lemminary,
Lemminary,

Or how super foods don’t give you superpowers. :^)

Why wasn't NYC's Central Park concept copied by other cities?

I’m talking about a massive park in the absolute heart of the city. Located such that is naturally surrounded by city high rises. *People are giving examples of parks that are way off in the boonies. I’m trying to say located centrally, heart of the city, you know where the high rises are. Yes I understand nyc has more, the...

Lemminary,

I’m personally fond of the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. They had the Bodies exhibit the time I visited and it was incredible.
