Magnets transmit force, they don’t magically create energy. It takes energy to move the car, not just a static force being present. It’s the same as taping a stick to it without the magnets. Unless someone pulls on the stick (or magnet), no energy is entering the system and no work can be done.
Uh… no? Well, maybe for the guy in the picture because they’re clearly dumb, but “computer engineer” sounds more like chip design and circuit layout than even software engineering, let alone basic IT work…
Basic IT work is wholly and completely different than any kind of computer-related engineering.
See, if they wanted to make a drama-fest Trek, THAT would be a perfect way. Discovery’s style of bastardizing everything about Starfleet is exactly the wrong way. It shouldn’t matter if they’ve made the same mistake in some of the Trek movies. It’s ALWAYS a mistake to bastardize things instead of creating new angles.
Especially when there are a few examples of amazing actors that you can know and still sometimes struggle to recognize them in their characters. Like Gary Oldman, and … uh… OK well I’m not in a movie headspace, but he’s not the only one!
Tons of lesser names that play great side/background characters and it’s hard to tell, too, so I totally agree others need chances at lead characters.
Those are the actors I’m never tired of because their characters are almost always unique characters.
Nah, that’s the thing with mental disorders and other things: They’re usually just an imbalance of otherwise normal behaviors/moods/etc. Most people should be able to relate to most mental disorders.
They just shouldn’t do the, “lol I’m so OCD!” thing, because that trivializes how nasty the real disorders get. The people with the disorders don’t just have flashes of silly desires or emotions (usually), but rather a literally debilitating to normal daily life disorder that no one would want to deal with.
They were covering up the news about the ocean srreams possibly dying by 2025. They did it to cover up the news that they’re officially destroying the planet.
They aren’t confusing the terms. It’s just that “libertarians” in the US are largely viewed as right-wing anti-authority, whereas on the global stage, they’re kindof like normal anarchist-lite. If you say, “well that’s not very specific”, then yes that’s correct.
