I remember trying it out a few years back on my laptop from 2012 and it was unusably slow. Like 10 seconds just to open the menu.

Xfce ran just fine though. That’s a minimal DE.

Youre obviously just bad at sharpie manipulation. It takes a skilled handler, but with some practice you too can shape exquisite right angles with a sharpie. Look into joining your local chapter of the sharpie handler guild.

In my experience people who are this utterly devoid of consideration are not only unable to change, they will get angry at you for suggesting they’ve done something wrong.

simply because driving a car for 10 km to a farm for a bag of apples (or whatever) is a LOT worse per apple than the traditional container-on-ship->container-on-rail->semi-truck->local store supply chain which has a few times the fuel consumption of a car

Yes, but hardly any software is tested with musl instead of glibc, so you might have problems.
