While it’s a nice thought, it is not always feasible, especially if you have a deficiency (certain medications & substance can actually deplete/leech your magnesium stores).
If you are low, take supplements for a while. Less than a month before transitioning to magnesium-rich foods. I’d suggest magnesium taurate or magnesium glycinate. Magnesium oxide actually absorbs horribly, so you wouldn’t be getting much from taking it.
I’ve had a deficiency years ago and was unaware of it. Caused so much jaw tension that I ground down my teeth while I slept and fucked a lot of them up. Also had a lot of headaches and muscle tightness that completely disappeared after taking supplements.
Do what’s best for you in the end, but be cautious. Also please consult a medical professional before adding supplements or anything of thst nature to your regimen.
My sisters: “You’re way too picky when it comes to dating!”
Also them: — date dudes with so many personal issues that it ends up driving them up the wall and disrupting their lives with obsessive neediness and constant insecurity —
Me: lol ok.
My standards aren’t even that high. I just live in a shitty conservative town and don’t feel like traveling 1 hour+ just to see a human that might just be trying to hookup even though I clearly say that’s not at all what I’m interested in.
Just give me a stable dude who can communicate well, is secure in their sexuality, doesn’t have a criminal record, likes Stardew Valley, lizards, and is cool with stuffed animals, and I’ll give it a shot.
I just asked my 12-year old, and he says he’s learning about this in his health class right now.
Fentanyl: “Only a very small amount will kill you. They are often laced in street drugs and stuff bought from the internet.”
Opioids: “They’re like painkillers and numb your senses and thoughts. They can make your slower and weird.” (that’s all he was told)
Nothing on the other stuff yet.
He’s said that his teacher had a relative die from fentanyl. She’s very passionate about drug education, from what he says, and notes that she hasn’t ever said that “all drugs are bad” or anything like that.
She’s also apparently brought in nurses and doctors to help with explanations and information about certain drugs. No cops, apparently, which *thank thar. Hopefully it stays that way.
So far, I’m very happy with the kind of drug education he’s getting. I supplement it with more in-depth, one-on-one conversations, as well. Not all drugs are evil, and I let him know that.
My last boss told all his employees to invest in crypto, and I believe all of them put a substantial amount into it. He was a country hick who worked machine repair beside me at their shop. Thought he was hot shit because he was a member of a Facebook Q group and thought he was smarter than everyone else because he “knew secrets on a deeper level”. Okay bud.
I left before the end of the year because he stopped scheduling me over a comment I made about another one of his fucking insane conspiracy theories he liked to spout instead of helping with the workload.
Then the crypto crash happened. They went out of business 8 months later. Can’t imagine why!
Eat shit, Wayne. Those gals and that kid working under you deserved better, you cunt.
