SocialMediaRefugee,

Best part is I can carry 2-3 fully loaded reusable bags vs 12 flimsy plastic ones that split and overflow.

SocialMediaRefugee,

Sometimes works, sometimes I’m rubbing away like a boy scout trying to get his fire starter merit badge

SocialMediaRefugee,

That’s what I tell her…

SocialMediaRefugee,

I just want to be able to establish lodestones so I can tele to places

SocialMediaRefugee, (edited )

Gordon Ramsey’s favorite family

SocialMediaRefugee,

What you get when no one is in charge. There are always people who will abuse a common trust. People will litter within feet of a trashcan or leave a cart a few spaces from a cart corral.

SocialMediaRefugee, (edited )

Mostly Americans who don’t travel say this because they haven’t experienced lazy people in other countries. I’ve seen plenty of dumping of trash, destruction of natural places, etc in other countries.

SocialMediaRefugee,

You need to travel more then

Is there an artist so horrible that no matter how hard you try that you cannot separate their art from them?

Similar to the recent question about artists where you can successfully separate them from their art. Are there any artists who did something so horrible, so despicable, that it has instantly invalidated all art that they have had any part in?

SocialMediaRefugee,

Maybe John Wayne Gacy, otherwise I accept the art for its own merit.

What is Something Scientific that you just don't believe in at all?

EDIT: Let’s cool it with the downvotes, dudes. We’re not out to cut funding to your black hole detection chamber or revoke the degrees of chiropractors just because a couple of us don’t believe in it, okay? Chill out, participate with the prompt and continue with having a nice day. I’m sure almost everybody has something...

SocialMediaRefugee,

We haven’t seen anything in nature violate it nor in any lab.

SocialMediaRefugee,

aspartame

This reminds me of the research on saccharine that involved massive doses of it in mice. The belief that pumping huge amounts into a mouse can substitute for lower levels over long times always struck me as odd. Most systems, especially biological ones, have a critical level where systems fail. An example is the body’s ability to process toxins like alcohol in the liver. If you overwhelm the enzymes in the liver you get far different results than if you gave low levels over long periods.

SocialMediaRefugee,

This would apply to 99% of journalists.

SocialMediaRefugee,

I’d say building giant stadiums and paving over large chunks of land for parking lots is worse. At least golf courses have vegetation.

SocialMediaRefugee,

Still beats taking open space and paving it over for some sprawling cookie cutter development

SocialMediaRefugee,

Not the ones built outside of city limits where the land is cheap and available

SocialMediaRefugee,

I bet they were on the ladder stringing them along the eaves of the house and realized they had the line backwards

SocialMediaRefugee,

Don’t eat moldy bread but eat moldy cheese.

SocialMediaRefugee,

For the elite “Puffing and grabbing their chests after running for a minute” soldiers

SocialMediaRefugee,

Raspberries are worse. When you buy them they should’ve been eaten 24 hrs ago.
