TheOakTree,

I think the pro-landlord commenters are missing the fundamental point:

In the “please pay me to live in my extra house” scenario, the problem is not that someone is renting your extra house. The problem is that you and others can afford to have multiple houses, so much so that the person renting your house cannot buy their first house. If the cost of houses increases as the availability of houses decreases, there is an obvious outcome to the richest people buying all the houses and renting them out.

TheOakTree,

Guide to playing Silkbind Shockwave HH in MonHun Rise.

TheOakTree,

MSI just announced their handheld PC too, it has an Intel (Meteor Lake) CPU with Arc graphics.

TheOakTree,

The one guy who got with 9 people… is he a liar or a rizzler?

TheOakTree,

That fellow clearly just wants to become a heavily radical leftist, so he wants to maximize the jump he makes on the spectrum! Good on him!

TheOakTree,

Ah, that makes more sense. My bad on my part as well, the fediverse is certainly not just for US/Europe.

TheOakTree, (edited )

What do you mean? I know plenty of people who worked service jobs and bought cheap used cars in high school.

It just isn’t as feasible now.

TheOakTree,

What if I told you… you can turn cranberries into the jello consistency? And adjust the flavor! I’m a sucker for good homemade cranberry sauce lol

TheOakTree,

I wonder how much sunlight we can convert into stored energy until we are non-trivially detracting from the amount of energy that reaches the earth’s surface.

It’s probably an absurd proportion of solar panel coverage.

TheOakTree,

Thanks, you’re right

TheOakTree, (edited )

It’s the exact same shit as people complaining that CRT is “white-blaming.”

No, the problem isn’t inherently who you are, the problem is what you’re complicit in doing.

TheOakTree,

I did the same, pain.

I will be reunited on Saturday.

Can this be replicated with opensource software?[p2p file transfer over thunderbolt, and extremely low latency Video and game streaming (no encoding)] (www.youtube.com)

Further if this technology is open-sourced; can it be extended for use cases beyond that(Dual Motherboards sharing Compute power with low latency for working on a single process?); I know such solutions probably exist for servers and enterprises but i am talking about amateurs who don’t have 10K lying around for specialty...

TheOakTree,

One does not need to be a fan/recurrent viewer of LTT to be curious about a technology. And while most of the technical information sucks, the introductory level stuff can be useful for low and middle-end enthusiasts.

TheOakTree,

His torso, ribs, and schlong look awfully like a cartoon Mandrill… which is hilarious in multiple ways.

Medieval belt buckle of 'dragon' eating frog discovered in Czech Republic may be from unknown pagan cult (www.livescience.com)

The puzzling depiction of a vicious predator — either a dragon or a snake — devouring a frog on an early medieval belt buckle from the Czech Republic may be a symbol from an unknown pagan cult, archaeologists say....

TheOakTree,

The holes at the bottom were probably tacked into a strip of leather and secured, and I’d imagine there’s some sort of stud or hook on the backside of the buckle.
