Yes please! This was the obstacle that kept me from trying it a couple of weeks ago. Ideally I’d love to find the equivalent to chess.com (or lichess), but for Go.

Oh yeah, it all started with the arcades. There was a whole culture attached to it, and they were very popular.

I think it’s fascinating to learn about how the developers figured out how to do things back then, the limitations, scaling/distribution, and then the rapid arms race between customers and devs to make games harder and harder to beat. There was an excellent documentary about this on Netflix a few years ago, but I can’t remember the name off the top of my head.

It feels like we’ve reached a critical mass to maintain, which was important, but now it’s just a matter of getting the word out.

Private cloud gaming, you say? That sounds like something I might need to look up.

At the risk of overanalyzing a tweet, this is actually generally good advice. Scanning your body to release tension is a common stress-reduction coping skill taught in therapy, and in clinical settings is often referred to as “progressive muscle relaxation”, which has been shown in many studies to reduce stress in the short-term. If you google this term, you’ll have better results.

Here’s an NIH article that covers a few things, including progressive muscle relaxation:

www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8272667/

It’s not intended as a permanent solution for underlying causes (e.g. doing coke or alcohol, like you said), but more of something to mildly reduce stress/anxiety in the moment.

If most of Asia and Europe are his hair, then I see it!

Thank you for managing this for the past two weeks!

It turned out great!

Haha, yeah I have no idea what to do with that one.

I’ve been doing that too. Especially when I don’t even know enough to form a googleable query.

“Who was that guy in that movie where that one scene happened?”

Ah, will edit! I’m doing a bad job of keeping track… lol

I’m pretty sure that’s all they do now… Lol

If you’re doing it, I may hop on some as I can. So today is O’Brien, huh? Let’s see if I can cook something up.

I always put the source in the title in case anyone wants to look them up.
