Thisfox,

And here I thought all the American money seemed monochromatic.

Thisfox,

Mate, your money does still seem monochromatic to modern eyes. I use it when I visit, and the other notes don’t have that rainbow on them. I admit I am rarely exchanging more than fifty US at a time . I’m comparing those that I use to modern notes.

And security features? The shops there still accept cheques. I was surprised the economy still functioned when I found that out.

Thisfox,

It talks about the benefits of recycling, and not how it is done…

Thisfox,

On the forehead.

Never really understood the insistence of putting it behind the ears…

Thisfox,

Type it into a translator, it’s just latin.

Thisfox,

Water usage per flush here in Australia is significantly lower. And yet the system is cleaner and more reliable. I had never even seen a plunger until my first US visit; We don’t need them here because our toilets work, unlike the huge American toilets which clog and require too much water.

Thisfox,

American toilets are just weird. Why do they need to evacuate into an overful lake like that? Always seems so wasteful, putting 50 litres of water into each flush too.

Thisfox,

And yet only three strings…

Seems strange they didn’t make the key levers more ergonomic.

Thisfox,

Nah, would make it look even larger, which would be good!

Tall as he is, the musician does look almost as if he has to stand on a platform to play. And that twist in his back doesn’t look sustainable.

Thisfox,

keys or levers, attached to a set of capos. Not locks.

Thisfox,

All these minecraft jokes and this is who you pick on?

What surprises me is no way to carry the bucket away afterward; You would have to put your hand over the bucket, in the steam. Gloved or not, it does not seem very safe.

Thisfox,

If you get really stuck, you can likely add those other volunteers here and they can help you.

Thisfox,

Seems to work with the “in bed” tradition I guess.

Our tradition is to declare a big question before we open a fortune. One that cannot be simply answered with a yes/no answer, like “What will I wish for when I am on holiday next week?” or “When will I meet these friends next?” or even a business question. The fortune then gets some context.

Thisfox,

Likely from some company trying to sell expensive foul tasting “sports water”. Eat a bag of crisps with your water if you are really concerned about your salt intake.

Drinking distilled water will not leave you thirsty. And on a study here in Australia on teenagers drinking electrolyte sport drink vs water while doing athletics, it was proven there was better athletic performance from the water drinkers… Which brings a lot of the advertising into question.

Thisfox,

Better than chugging a gallon of artificial sweetener, caffiene and flavours.

Isn’t a gallon almost four litres? A gallon of anything is going to be dangerous to drink all at once.

Thisfox,

No. You can get those minerals from your food. It is safe to drink distilled water. But there is a lot of misinformation about distilled water, I have even had people tell me it can kill them! Water is water. Get your minerals from food.
