UnrepententProcrastinator,

As a father of 4 boys, I find it sad that young men want a world on fire. There are a lot of good male role model out there, let’s promote them, seems that would be more conducive.

UnrepententProcrastinator,

Every generation, people want to try new things and it’s nice. But landownership can and has been and good thing in a way that just going back to “anarchy” wouldn’t work. E.g. creation of ghettos, who gets to farm the best land, etc.

So then the suggestions are that the land are owned and “managed” by the state apparatus. Now we have a few famines in history to show us how gaining favor in a political system is not the best way to manage the land.

I’m open to better suggestions but just shitting on land ownership seems easy and unproductive.

UnrepententProcrastinator,

If you take the most extreme form, they just shelter their children and brainwash them to the point where denial of God’s existence is associated with fear of hell.

For the rest, confirmation bias, especially thanks to the shitty tool like Google search that reinforce it. Or they make their God untouchable by definition through philosophical arguments.

They feel the same way about you not believing considering all the self-evident miracles they see everyday on their feed.

UnrepententProcrastinator,

Easy to beat, Steve Harvey is a very vocal anti-atheist. Immediate POS in my book.

UnrepententProcrastinator,

Got an IR watch in high school before universal remotes were a known enough technology. That teacher must have really hated that day. Sorry Mrs Desgagné if you’re out there.

What is Something Scientific that you just don't believe in at all?

EDIT: Let’s cool it with the downvotes, dudes. We’re not out to cut funding to your black hole detection chamber or revoke the degrees of chiropractors just because a couple of us don’t believe in it, okay? Chill out, participate with the prompt and continue with having a nice day. I’m sure almost everybody has something...

In my experience, nobody who understands evolution disbelieves evolution for scientific reasons. Ergo the creationist movement is inherently religious which would explain why you don’t see it much outside the religious bubble you were born within.

UnrepententProcrastinator,

I’m not up to date on the lingo, is freak cool?

UnrepententProcrastinator,

I hope you interacted with someone’s pet like it was potential food.

UnrepententProcrastinator, (edited )

Corruption is the issue when governments are involved with capital. Social inequality is the issue when private owners control the capital.

My view is that having an army and control over the capital is too many eggs in the same basket.

UnrepententProcrastinator,

Please don’t tell that to any manager. They’ll misinterpret it.

UnrepententProcrastinator,

I’m fine with the post especially in niche communities just to keep them alive. But yeah comments seem useless.

UnrepententProcrastinator,

Reporting abuse from a boss to HR is like reporting cop abuse to the cops.

UnrepententProcrastinator,

When gifted, you also inherit the smartest demon for your right shoulder.

UnrepententProcrastinator,

-25 to 40 is very useful for weather. Especially in a northern country. The only reason they don’t switch is “best country in the world” delusions they’ve been fed to believe is true since birth.

UnrepententProcrastinator,

Nothing like the pressure of last minute to be productive!

UnrepententProcrastinator,

The animals argument is bad. We are animals and the idea is to refrain of our bad instincts in favour of the greater good most of the time.

That being said abolition of borders is a very bad idea, a very basic visit of human history will squash any misplaced idealism regarding that subject.

That also being said immigration is most of the time a good idea as long as you put a consideratr effort into integration for your newly minted citizens.

Now I realize most of those are opinions without substance, the idea is to realize where people push back and why before backing them up.

UnrepententProcrastinator,

That nerve in the giraffe necks that goes all the way down and then back up is a perfect example why God should not do cable management.
