Any species of insect of my choosing within 12 inches of my body instantly die and I can activate or deactivate this power at will.

Or the ability to be fresh out of the shower and perfectly dried off clean instantly whenever I choose.

Yes, I recommend the 501st series iirc the first book is called 501 hard contact. Sadly the series was never finished but it is still worth the read.

Seems like you didn’t have the water at the right temp and didn’t dry them quickly enough or put them back on a heating pad. Which is fully understandable because you were 9 years old. If you know what you are doing it’s perfectly safe to give them a bath but it’s not recommended unless they are infested with fleas.
