Playing as durge rn (second play through, first as durge) and I’ve already lost all but shadow heart, astarian, and lazel to “accidents”, I hope I don’t regret that later but it’s nice having a more limited team, plus I can rely on hirelings if I need to
Meanwhile I’m over here, not used windows on my own machine in more than 1.75 years and I don’t even touch the terminal most of the time, I know how some commands work, but I hardly touch them
I should really learn to do more with it, but I have my system setup and working how I like, So I don’t really have motivation to learn to do all this other cool stuff
If I wasn’t in love with my Logitech MX-ergo I would absolutely get one of those, but with the 3D printed part I printed to give it a much steeper angle, I’m not sure if I can use anything else on a regular bases anymore
I’ve been seeing all these posts about Linux lately, and looking at them, I can honestly see the appeal. I’d love having so much autonomy over the OS I use, and customize it however I like, even having so many options to choose from when it comes to distros. The only thing holding me back, however, is incompatibility issues....
I posted this as a comment in another post but when I got done I realized it would probably just be better as its own post. I’m sure I could find the answers I need myself but frankly I trust the userbase here more than most online articles....
I don’t tend to use word documents much anymore, but from what I’ve heard, of the 2 main open source document viewers Only Office probably has the most compatibility with word, and iirc it recently added PDF support
I’m glad your path to linux was less volatile than mine, I ran away from windows becouse my computer would not stop blue screening even after I re installed the OS, Funny thing is it works just fine on linux and I’ve had no issues
Honestly I don’t get why Gnome is standard for so many distros, if that’s your thing sure but I feel like KDE makes more sense as a default (unless you’re going for more of an apple feel)
Disney is raking its customers over the coals with a 75% price hike for their annual subscription (originally $80.) People wonder why piracy is on the rise.Multiple commenters are saying I’m off base about the 75% price increase. My payment less than a year ago was $79.99. Here’s the proof.
