OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, great KDE defaults - up to date - stable. Does things a bit differently than most distros but it’s pretty easy to get used to.

Yeah take it down. Sometimes they make comics that wouldn’t be bad in isolation but considering they’re nazi sympathizers it changes the context. And most of their stuff is outright wildly bigoted antisemitic/homophobic/racist shit.

Why didn't anyone remind me the dual booting exists?

I always found having each OS have a separate physical drive is much better, but partitioning is fine if you must.

My instance of ~300 users (and uh, far less active ones) is costing me $223/year

I’ve had users donate about $25 so ~10% community funded and 90% admin funded.

That’s fine by me at the current cost. Though if we somehow got a bunch of new users I’d have to cut off signups at some point unless more donations rolled in. I could probably handle a sizeable increase in users first though.
