You’re assuming I spend my time defending bad people, which I don’t do. I just use critical thinking and point out logical fallacies. I believe fallacies are always bad, even if they support a position I agree with.
Okay but unless you are spending a lot of time in the command line, one (POSIX compliant) shell is as good as another. Like yes every distro needs a shell, but I don’t much care which shell it is.
My dog dry heaves sometimes. It looks like he’s gonna throw up but nothing comes out. I asked the vet and he said that it’s probably eating stuff he shouldn’t (which makes sense, he has a bad habit of grabbing stuff off the ground and trying to eat it on our walks)
I’m not a psychologist, so I can’t explain the exact theory, but basically my understanding is that self-confidence and self-esteem are linked to the concept of self-efficacy, which means the trust that your mind will be able to cope with the challenges presented to it. Low self-esteem and self-confidence are linked to all kinds of insecurities and challenges functioning.
Disclaimer: I recently began working on my own low self-confidence with my therapist and she pointed me to a book, the contents of which I’m mostly regurgitating here. The book is “The Six Pillars of Self-esteem” by Nathaniel Branden.
While that’s all true, there are a lot of productions where I assume basically nobody involved is actually proud of the thing they are trying to create. Like all those soulless cash grab movies that Illumination pumps out. I figure basically everyone there is just trying to collect a paycheck
Yeah it seems unreasonable to me that the Defiant and Enterprise D wouldn’t have totally different size Jeffries tubes considering how different in scale and function the two ships are.
