How about Wally Gubbins? A series of silly skydiving videos. My father has a ton of them on VHS. I loved it as a kid. I just looked, you can even find them on YouTube. So maybe not that obscure.
In terms of software I remember having several ad games. So, games that are basically just an ad. I had a Bifi game. Some weird game about colours where I don’t remember what it was for. And a “game” about Chesterfield Cigarettes. I remember that I had to install QuickTime Player to run it. It was basically like Google Streetview when you walked into buildings with a few interactive elements put in. No idea where I got it. Might even still have the CD somewhere.
As the title said, I’m looking for good videos to learn astronomy, cosmology and astrophysics (really, anything related to space is fine, such as rocket science).
Forgot to mention Arvin Ash. Sometimes a little bit too clickbaity but overall pretty good. And he will correct himself if he got something wrong which is always a plus.
Especially the early QM videos by Sabine Hossenfelder are great. Lately she’s just researching popular science news which may or may not be correct. But I like that she is at least stating her bias when she has one.
What always irked me about that show was that the actual science, like how things were found out and how certain we are in that assessment, is totally glossed over. It sounds more like two potheads philosophising on their couch. It might be entertaining, but you may run away with a severe lack of understanding.

Saw a documentary about Vienna the other day. They have state sponsored housing that is cheap or free and nice to look at and situated together in rich neighbourhoods to work against segregation.
Don’t know if this is the case for all of Vienna or Austria.

After ~450 hours in the game, I realized something that I’d been wanting was in the game the whole time, just not explicitly: a way to put your items into “folders”....
My favourite book is Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. My edition has a foreword about how Lewis Carroll wasn’t really a pedophile. He just had so many pictures of naked kids, spent so much time with them and wanted to marry the real Alice while she was young solely because he had soooo much love for children. Yeah. Had the problems with 0.19.0. Thought it was fixed with 0.19.1. But I guess it was just the restart that fixed it temporarily. Now I’ve got to remember to check every now and then if my comments federated.
The ambient temperature needs to be significantly lower than body temperature though, because your body is constantly generating heat that has to be dissipated. 36 °C is too hot for a human for long stretches of time.

Scratch is the bestest of the best boys. I think he got even better with the new patch. Maybe too good. I threw the vial of smokepowder to blast through a wall. And the good boy thinks I want to play fetch. So while everyone runs away from the wall and I’m getting ready to IGNIS the good boy fetches the smokepowder and brings...
But Scratch actually can come with you. You can summon him with a ball he brings you.
And then he at least sniffes out buried treasure. I don’t consider it to be meta gaming when I dig around after everyone failed their survival checks, when Scratch is pointing somewhere.
