can,

I’m Canadian and I agree. 25 c is the edge of what’s bearable but closer to 20 c is better.

It’s alright. Points don’t matter. If the community doesn’t like this prompt I don’t mind.

Death Stranding always looked odd to me but with time it’s started to sound more unique and worthwhile.

can,

I’ve considered this before too. Watching a movie on a streaming service only to see it buffer and decrease quality before more visually intensive scenes. It’s pathetic how easily I could find a better encoded rip, stream it to my TV, and actually be able to appreciate those scenes the artists worked so hard on.

can,

I love this

I just use the sampler as a VST in my daw for some inspiration.

Edit: now that I look they actually have a pretty generous 30 day trial for Sample 2.0 even if you’ve trialed an older version before. I’m so used to 3 day trials with something like iLok tacked on too.

can,

The most moral piracy possible.

can,

  • can,

Ableton to Bitwig should be a pretty smooth transition. You can even open Ableton project files in it.

    can,

Bitwig Studio is so good though and it was actually made by former Ableton devs who felt it was stagnating.

    can,

How do you know who that is?

By seeing hundreds of caricatures of him throughout my life.

    can,

As far as I understand it federation shouldn’t have anything to do with commenting on your own instance but rather after when it gets sent to other instances.

    can,

it just won’t go to the original one.

And for clarity it won’t go to any other instances’ copies either.

Is there any way to flag OC lemmy/fediverse posts? Maybe an optional checkbox "OC lemmy/fediverse content" or something that marks the post with an OC badge or something similar?

I have the impression that the lion’s share of all posts on Lemmy are reposts or screenshots from other platforms. I don’t mean links to other sites of course, after all Lemmy is a Reddit clone and thus a link aggregator. I just think that Lemmy can’t survive if there is no way to make people aware that a particular post...

    can,

    lemmy.zip/instances

That won’t show which have deferedesged from you though. There was a tool but I can’t recall the name atm.
