Do you have a lot of carpet? Tbh they seem to work best if you have non carpeted floors. Also, there are a zillion robot vacuums out there and the lowest pricing tier sucks major ass unfortunately. If you’re not looking to spend at least $250, anything below that isntrash and absolutely not worth owning at all.
Years ago I was trying to get into med school. But I didn’t think I could so I stopped trying at the end and pursued a different route. One of the reasons I didn’t go was I was afraid I would kill myself if I went. In the back of my mind I’ve always been a bit disappointed with myself that I didn’t try hard enough to get in, but this sort of cements my reasoning for not going.
I’m still waiting for the day EV’s will be reasonable for people who don’t own a home that they can charge their vehicle at. It’s a humongous population and people don’t seem to have great ideas to incentivize people to tackle the problem.
Congratulations!!! Yeah, it’s a long road ahead, but you’ve got the in now. You’ve passed the biggest barrier to entry. After this, it’s a marathon, but an exclusive one that you managed to get a spot at. I know you’ll be a great doctor, especially because you have humbler beginnings than some and know how it felt to struggle. Humility is a big part of being an empathetic human being and a good doctor. You got this!
I know it’s way too early to say, but what field do you think you’ll end up in?
I have been having some mental health issues, and I was reading about this the other day. I was going through wikipedia with the various types of antidepressants, and it seems that SSRIs are just barely better than placebo, or even in studies not even better than placebo.
I know there are multiple classes of antidepressants out there. Are there any that do a better job, even if they are not as common?
I’m in the US and I’ve never heard anyone pronounce it “SAW-dur” in person or in any form of media. You are supposed to pronounce the L in the General American accent.
If you use Google’s word pronunciation tools, both General American and Received Pronunciation pronounce the L in soldier.
Edit: I like the downvotes to all my comments without anyone showing me people pronouncing it that way.
