doctorcrimson, to memes in Every goddamn time I'm trying to make something for my DnD game

If I didn’t have an extension to convert to PNG then idk what I would do. I guess I’d just stop sharing memes forever because the corporates made meme sharing technology proprietary? That’s sad as hell.

doctorcrimson, to lemmyshitpost in A handy guide this holiday season.

No because then rappers would say “YO HO HO”

doctorcrimson, to lemmyshitpost in Back in my day

There is more obscure media than ever, it just connects less people you’re likely to ever meet in person.

doctorcrimson, to science_memes in Rest in Plasma

I think everything is either crystalline solid or fluid and nobody can convince me otherwise.

doctorcrimson, to lemmybewholesome in Relatable in any time period

2007, by Galina Zhiganova, a Russian artist.

doctorcrimson, to memes in Just wash it right off

That just killed one of my personal goals, thanks.

doctorcrimson, to asklemmy in No politics inteded: Why isn't Trump after leaving office in any way or shape involved in politics say as member of congress or senate?

Can you imagine if a Biden fanboy made a post about how manly and beach ready he is? No, because only a deranged person would say that about any 70+ yo politician.

Trump cultists were literally expending every braincell on fantasy fueled denial.

doctorcrimson, to mildlyinteresting in "Do you live in the Midwest?" by self-report

Wait, what? Where do people in Montana think they live? The south?

doctorcrimson, to piracy in Disney is gouging customers with a near doubling of subscription costs.

The term is generally reserved for, especially in legal cases, goods that are required to maintain a minimum quality of life but are in finite supply. If you were to suddenly increase the price of food, water, or communication technology during a widespread emergency, you would be committing a very clear case of Price Gouging and in most places found in violation of the law.

However, Disney+ Streaming service is the epitome of a good that is NOT necessary to live. It’s a minor luxury with no positive impact on the consumer.

doctorcrimson, to lemmyshitpost in It's dangerous to go alone. Take this.

I wonder if the underwear also works if the user gets splashed with neurotoxin or hit by a wave of radiation. I know theres gotta be a clear cutoff but I’m not sure where it is.

Don’t get me wrong, running faster than Usain Bolt seems cool, too. The sleeping mask seems like a great idea at first until you realize it would increase your food expense dramatically.

doctorcrimson, to programmer_humor in Not mocking cobol devs but yall are severely underpaid for keeping fintech alive

If it’s constructive then it should be interpreted as good faith.

doctorcrimson, to comicstrips in JPEG

Not how acronyms work but I like your fire.

doctorcrimson, to memes in Just wash it right off

Couldn’t you have just run it in parallel and have a T split with valves on the intake and output? In order to drain a side for repairs you could just close the working side off and void it normally. In series just seems like a weird choice to me.

doctorcrimson, (edited ) to comicstrips in Equation by Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal

That’s the short form equation that ignores environmental pressure, the long form has a separate term that accounts for shelter and sentience as a factor between 0 and 1, as well as a quotient for empathy with a numerator of associate happiness.

doctorcrimson, to memes in This is too loud

I don’t really like the edit that removed the camera, maybe it’s just because of the low image quality but it bothers me.
