There was one called “pewdiepie to holocaust denial speedrun” where you start from an pewdiepie video and by following reccomendations you finish in an holocaust denial video in the lest amount of videos.
I used to watch a youtuber that played really hard rimworld scenarios for like me and his other 60 subscribers. When he started to grow up, to like 300 subscribers, he started to diversify his let’s plays and some people on the comments started to complain that he was wasting his time trying other games or mods of rimworld, instead of playing the same ultra hard scenarios again. I was like ny dudes, if he want to do a living of this he can’t marry with just one game, we don’t know if the next game is going to be a banger or if rimworld is going to die. I eventually stopped watching him because he stopped playing those really hard vanilla rimworld scenarios, but nowadays he’s a full time streamer and in the twitch salaries leak it showed that he got 60k at year by twitch. Not a lot of money, but enough for him to call it a full time job.
There’s a couple of laws I think would make that illegal on Brazil. First, you have to accept legal tender, for example you cannot have a “credit card only” policy. Second, they are laws against “married sells”, where you can’t sell items on “groups” without the possibility of them for being bought individually (like you cannot sell pizza+soda, without selling the pizza or the soda individually). Based on those I guess you cannot not accept a 5, neither force the client to buy 5 if they only want 1.

Years ago, in October I wanted to buy a new TV, my wife said we should wait for black Friday but I just bought it anyway. I keep checking the price day after day and the price of it keep rising slowly every day, until black Friday when it had a 40% sale off and was still more expensive of what I paid two months before.
Kinda related, in the company I used to work everything was done in SAS, an statistical analysis software (SAS duh) that fucking sucks. It’s used to be great, but once your on their environment you are trapped for fucking forever. I hated it and refuse to learned it over what was basic for my daily tasks. A couple of months I moved to another company that used to pay a consulting firm for my job, so my boss and me had to start everything fresh and the first thing we did was to study what are going to use as statistics software and I fight tooth and nails for Python and one of the points I pushed was that if in the future we decide to move out of Python we could easily can do it, while other solutions could locked up us with them.
I mostly use pandas that I don’t think is going anywhere, we’re also going to start tests with a library called ‘chainladder’ that is used for some actuarial reserves calculations, from everything else I’m programming custom functions because as far as I know, there’s not a lot of actuarial mathematics libraries on Python (R have much more support for that, but I prefer the flexibility of Python, like a good portion of my job is scrapping our regulatory body website for information and not sure how good R work on that).
It’s a joke about how everything is a hamas base in the eyes of the IDF army, and the answer from the Israeli government to any criticism calling it anti semitism.
I have a process that use python to read some excel files from the commercial team and then the result feed a dashboard. Every week the assistant of the director write me saying that the dashboard didn’t update correctly, I look what happens and everytime it was the commercial people messing with the excel where it was already told hundred of times they should not mess with anything except their corresponding cells. Next week I’m learning how to block the file except the cells they should edit.
