flambonkscious,

“Just how long did you know dad before you married him” - damn that’s savage

flambonkscious,

Sounds exactly like the sort of thing a multi resistant bacterium would say…

Good luck web devs (lemmy.world)

Alt text:Twitter post by Daniel Feldman (@d_feldman): Linux is the only major operating system to support diagonal mode (credit [Twitter] @xssfox). flambonkscious,

Peak evil - well done. How much is the extra fee to wrap a letterbox around the circle on a conventional aspect ratio?

There’s good money in this idea!

flambonkscious,

The ‘made with minimal effort’ is top-tier, too!

flambonkscious,

Thanks, I was wondering, too.

Poor guy, he’s never going to get a fair chance in life…

flambonkscious,

Among all the other horrible things he did!

flambonkscious,

I love that idea of asking people to tell him their story - this is a fantastic story

flambonkscious,

Is proper grammar even allowed in memes? I feel like I’ve never seen any at all (haven’t exactly been looking)

flambonkscious,

…maybe? But considering how insular and closed-minded American culture is, I highly disagree. These are highly conservative companies only going for the safe money.

flambonkscious,

I think it’s more that if everything is made by boring, rich, white men we get less of a range of perspectives.

Everyone knows creativity is driven by adversity, so having less privileged people telling stories is a no brained.

You’re right about indie, I completely agree on that

flambonkscious,

Actually, no:

“We’re missing an enormous creative opportunity by not diversifying. We deplore creative laziness, we deplore financial laziness, and so we should therefore deplore a lack of inclusivity,” she said of the industry. “Homogeneity in any industry is the death of progress and innovation. That’s certainly the case for the creative industries. When you walk onto a set that is homogenous, you can sort of taste the outcome. The things that break through that are fresh, that have influence for the next decade, always start because someone took a risk on them.”

flambonkscious,

I concur - it seems like the chances of recovering so gracefully (vs ending up in a ditch, or similar) are miniscule.

Plus the while setting is conveniently clear, like its been planned

flambonkscious,

This beats the drake template, but maybe that’s just novelty talking?

Love it, though. Much respect, OP

flambonkscious,

All the shitty chromium forks have the option (usually defaulted on) to remain running in the background even when closed. I honestly don’t know why, other than advertising mining bitcoins…

flambonkscious,

Thanks for being the fall guy - you make the rest of us like good!

flambonkscious,

No, it’s just held upside down. For some reason I think the concave but goes by the ear and the flat bit is spoken into.

Now I’ve written it, it doesn’t make sense, but I’m pretty sure I’m correct - long conversations weren’t comfortable against the ear (because of the ring?)
