I remember one day hearing my father downstairs laughing his ass off. Went down to see what was so funny to find he had just discovered Mystery Science Theater 3000, and was losing it watching The Giant Gila Monster. I sat down to watch. I didn’t really get it then, but I’ve been a fan ever since.
MST3K hasn’t really held up for me. I don’t find it even little-chuckle funny anymore, but I remember Space Mutiny making my teenaged self laugh the hardest.
P.S. Bill Corbett was the only funny one in the entire history of that show. ducks and runs
Yeah, it’s true. I knew all the other ones, had to put that one in the dev tools console to believe it. I was just happy to know === continues to be sane in that comparison.
Is your address tied directly to the virtual card? If it is, terrible idea on the CC company’s part. If it’s not, how did they know it? I’d assume they have a lot more than just the virtual card info.
I watched multiple children die absolutely horrific deaths before the age of ten and I don’t walk around crying about it, I deal with it and don’t make it someone else’s problem.
You deal with it by getting angry at a trigger warning? Looks like this trigger warning should have had a trigger warning.
Because who the fuck is going to start a fight with someone that’s already proven they’re an asshole, for $7 an hour, to protect profits they’ll never see any part of?
Well, both I guess, but I was specifically talking about anyone fronting a “try and stop me” attitude by not even trying to sneak it in. They’re not going to sympathize with a low-level employee just trying to keep their job, they’re going to be a loud fuck head about it.
In the 80’s, I had a stress ball that I put on my entertainment center and tried it, only took a few seconds and the thing fell off!.. because it had expanded back into a ball shape and rolled. At least I learned a fun trick to amaze my younger sister with :)
No one is going to stop frequenting a business because they were greeted by someone with pink hair.
Some will but you didn’t want them there in the first place, any profit the company makes off their purchase was going to be negated into the red by taking up employee time with stupid requests and complaints.
