I’m not even sure thinness was something consumers ever would have demanded
Something popular back in the removable battery days was to replace them with thicker extended capacity batteries. So no, battery life was more important to a lot of comsumers.
Edit: what I mean is you don’t always get a choice of parking spot. Of course I took my cart back if it was within reach. But in the cases it required going too far from the car when I had babies inside, I didn’t.
Depends on their age. They were the reason I didn’t take the cart back when they were very little. I didn’t want to leave them in the car and go to the other side of the parking lot.
I met my wife in high-school, we married at 21/22, it’s going to be our 19th anniversary this year. So yeah, definitely go lucky, and I would discourage my kids from doing the same even though it worked great for us.
I tried listening to the 50s and 60s stations on SiriusXM in the car when driving with the kids, because those songs should have safe language, but foul language is a lot better than what I was hearing in those songs (blatant sexism, borderline racism, love songs for underage girls, and so on). I decided Liquid Metal is just fine.
Case 1: Blue guy hates green people. Red and yellow are fine, but green people are sub-human and don’t deserve the same treatment as blue, red, and yellow. According to this comic, you just give them gray people to refocus their racism and then blue and red will both hate gray together.
Case 2: Blue guy thinks only blue people are true human. If you’re not blue you don’t deserve to be treated the same as blue. Giving them gray people to be racist against will not change anything, it’s just one more color that’s not blue.
I’m saying case 2 is what racism looks like in real life in 99% of cases. But even in case 1, I doubt the blue racist would suddenly be ok with red people just because gray are worse.
You’re saying the same thing I am. Racists usually consider their race superior and all the others inferior. And in that case the solution in the comic would just add another inferior race to the list of inferior races.
It’s not like racists are racist against a single race and if you give them a new race to be racist against they’ll stop being racist against the first one.
The point is to not stick out on a cursory glance. As you drive by you see a bunch of green, you might notice there was something up with that particular tree, but that’s it. A plain cell tower would stick out from a distance, interrupting the natural view.
It’s like those mirror covered buildings that reflect their surroundings, giving the impression of unbroken landscape as you drive by. They’re not invisible, you know there’s a huge building there, but it’s a hell of a lot less disruptive than a regular one.
Which is one of the reasons I use it. If it’s not something I will want to pop up in my history later, then it goes in incognito. My history is only for things I plan to return to on a regular basis, not one time searches of random stuff.
Is it me or does that air tank look pasted over and the breathing tube too short for practical use? (turning his head left would drag down the tube on top of everything)
What is Something Scientific that you just don't believe in at all?
