ohlaph,

There are better options for those who find a way.

ohlaph,

Yeah, chips are outrageous. I simply stopped buying them.

ohlaph,

Their lack of choice is why I’ll never buy Apple products.

ohlaph,

Oh, they just relate to the poor speech, lack of coherent sentences, and overwhelming pride.

They just shout “one of us, one of us” a bit louder with each misstep.

What's (are) the funniest/stupidest way(s) you've broken your linux setup?

Tinkering is all fun and games, until it’s 4 am, your vision is blurry, and thinking straight becomes a non-option, or perhaps you just get overly confident, type something and press enter before considering the consequences of the command you’re about to execute… And then all you have is a kernel panic and one thought...

ohlaph,

I had a few programs for various things and one was simply an extension from the gnome extension manager. I updated it and my screen turned black and I couldn’t get it back. I had to revert to a previous version, then uninstall everything until I figurd out what caused it.

It took several hours.

ohlaph,

That’s Typescript…

ohlaph,

<span style="color:#323232;">aint (something) {
</span><span style="color:#323232;">    somethingElse()
</span><span style="color:#323232;">}
</span>
ohlaph,

I have found the same to be great for work life balance!

ohlaph,

That’s what I was thinking. I lost one to my bagels last week.

ohlaph,

This is one of the many reasons I built my own weather application for Android. Too much crap out there.

ohlaph,

In the realm of low-stakes New Year’s resolutions, I’ve decided to approach things like a turtle: slow, steady, and deliberate.

One of my goals is to read a few pages before bed each night, embracing the tranquility of the night like a ghostly whisper weaving through the pages.

Another resolution involves culinary adventures—I plan to try a new recipe every month, daring my taste buds to dance to flavors they’ve yet to meet, maybe even conjuring a dish that turns a stinky apple into a delicious surprise. And to inject some movement into my work-from-home routine, I aim to take short walks during breaks, not as a sprint but as a turtle’s amble, allowing myself to soak in the world outside my screen.

These resolutions are gentle nudges toward a better self without the weight of undue pressure.
