Why do christian apologists say the name of the person they're talking to so often?

I’m sure there are other groups that do it too, but I’ve noticed it most often from christian apologists, probably in part case I like listening to debates/discussions with them from atheist youtubers, but I’ve also noticed it talking to christians myself....

I think you’re just listening to that group a lot? If you go to a sales event or an expo people will say your name and make eye contact. It’s really normal behavior that in a normal situation you don’t need to over analyze but it is being amplified in those situations

Babies are definitely much more aware of body language at a young age. They’ll cry even before learning words if you express that they should cry. Example: they hit themselves with a shovel you run over, worried, and ask if they’re okay, they think “oh I was supposed to be in pain” and will cry. If you’re chill in that situation the kid might not even be aware they could reasonably cry in that situation

The difference isn’t something missing. The difference between the sites is here has more actual discussion. While people still feel the need to downvote anything they don’t agree with I still think it’d be interesting to have discussions

Do nothing and realize it’s okay. Life is tough guys, everyone needs a break, and there’s no race. I like to take life slow because then I can really slow down and notice all the beautiful details this world has to offer.

I’m tired of being told to feel guilty about taking my time and y’all should too! Let’s be better and understanding and less judging especially to ourselves ☺️

There’s a show like this on Hulu, I can’t remember the name. It’s kinda interesting and a funny show. Basically the mom is some super badass who fucked Satan and now just kills demons out of spite and the daughter is learning to control her demon self

Yeah, but like fuck the Old Testament. That shit is just stories. The New Testament is where I feel the actual messages are. That’s just my belief others can feel differently I don’t care. However, I do care if you use your religion to expose hate and violence. Be better, love everyone regardless of what they are. You can not enjoy their company or not want to associate with them, but lift them up always. I don’t know if I worded that last bit properly 😅
